3 dead, 2 wounded in shooting outside Atlanta

Three people are reported dead and two critically wounded in a shooting at a truck-rental company outside Atlanta.

Cobb County police say the gunman, who was wearing camouflage, fled in a pickup truck but was arrested about a mile away in Kennesaw, the Associated Press reports

I heard in the news many mentions of him being a "white guy". Is this why the national media is spreading this story like wildfire? I know its rare but, jeeez.

Who Cares. Let's not be overly sensitive like some people. Everyone who commits a crime should be identified in the media by race and immigration status IMHO. And let the chips fall where they may.

KENNESAW, Ga. (AP) — A spokesman for a truck rental company says a gunman accused of shooting three people to death is a former employee.
Police say five people were shot Tuesday the Penske Truck Rental facility in suburban Atlanta. Penske spokesman Randy Ryerson says four of the victims were employees and the other was a customer.

Cobb County police spokesman Joe Hernandez says the lone gunman is in custody. He says the suspect fled the scene in a pickup and was arrested about a mile away. Hernandez says the gunman was wearing camouflage.

The shooting happened in Kennesaw, about 25 miles northwest of Atlanta.
