5 things you need to know about: leaving California
5 things you need to know about: leaving California

Beset by deficits, unemployment above 11 percent, eroding infrastructure, the Golden State is looking tarnished. Ready to ditch the sunshine in favor of more stability? Here are some states to consider:
Employment: Scratch Michigan, Oregon, South Carolina and Rhode Island off your list because those states have higher unemployment than we do. North Dakota, Nebraska, Wyoming and South Dakota all have unemployment rates below 5 percent. [b]New motto for the Dakotas: “Our unemployment is so low even the cattle have jobs.â€NO AMNESTY

Re: 5 things you need to know about: leaving California
Catchy Subject below but needs more research. For one thing, Jennifer, Alaska became a state in 1949 and has been considered part of the U.S. since statehood. That's OK because anyone "in the know" or seriously researching would know already. I can only think of one thing not ideal about AK and that is the colder weather for a longer duration of the season but one can put on clothes and no one has frozen to death yet inside a heated house or car. Paying no taxes there might be just a little warmer upper! Further, the unemployment is not the sole driving factor to consider when relocating. Maybe those states need new business competition, open a new business, relocate with your company, move near relatives, etc...Stay where you are if you have nothing to offer a new state. But if you have something to offer realistically, cast your bread upon the waters....Try something you've always wanted to do and get the hay outta of illegal alien Mexifornia! IF you can, if not, move to a safer area if there is one, learn to pray and get yourself a gun.

There is no state in the US that is not hurting now.
Wyoming like California is a hurting state. And soon Wyoming is going to be very hard hit by the "carbon tax" that the government is probably going to install in the dark of night, under the Obama dictatorship.
Wyoming and Montana and states that endure low temperatures and have transportation challenges will be in a double bind. They will be charged a pretty penny for the transport of oil/gas and they will be paying higher prices to use it to warm their homes, etc
However, one of the advantages that Wyoming has is that most of their politicians are against Amnesty and are relativley conservative, unlike California and/or many other states politican bumpkins, that seem to feel that illegals are such a “special peopleâ€Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

So. Should you take your pool boy, nanny and lawn guy with you when you move?
Or will they be available in the new places?

States that have conservatives in the legislature have hope, unless amnesty gets pushed through. Another problem is the ACLU and liberal judges that constantly battle states rights. A recent example of course is the Justice Dept. overturned Georgia's Voter I.D. law. Voter's pass lelgislation and the powers that be always seem to throw it out. I guess we've been a ditatorship for some time now.
