Six men were killed Friday night and early Saturday in Juárez as part of the ongoing drug-related violence.

Almost three hours later, Armando Hernández Pineda, 55, and Luis Ernesto Ortiz Chihuahua, 27, were found dead in a 2005 Chrysler Crossfire near Avenida Ejercito Nacional and Diego Alcalá streets in the Pradera Dorada neighborhood.

Both had also been shot multiple times.

At 11:20 p.m. Friday, Carlos Alberto Carreón Salas, 17, was taken to Star Médica Hospital by family members after he was shot three times. Carreón died soon after arriving at the hospital, police said

Around 1 a.m. Saturday, a 45-year-old man, who was not identified Saturday, was shot to death inside the Lexus bar at Avenida Ejercito Nacional and Rancho El Becerro streets.

The man was wearing blue jeans, a beige-checked short-sleeve shirt and white tennis shoes, and had a tattoo that read "Paty" on his left leg.

Another man, Ricardo Zúñiga Gutiérrez, 22, was found dead at around 2:30 a.m. Saturday near Tehuacan and Toluca streets in the Industrial neighborhood. Zúñiga had been shot once in the throat,

The deaths were part of growing violence in Juárez, where the death toll this year is approaching 600. The violence has been linked to a turf war between the Juárez and Sinaloa drug cartels.
