    Is this crazy or what? Absolutely insane! A National DNA Database of all newborns and no protections as to what can be done with DNA.

    Absolutely ridiculous!

    There was a thread in one of the other forums regarding the taking of DNA from convicted felons. I agree with the procedure being done on convicted felons because I believe it will aid in convicting habitual felons, especially sexual predators, rapist, and murderers. However, without parental consent, I could never support the taking, logging, and storage of a childs DNA for any reason.

    Hey MW, we agree!

    The goal is to have the DNA of every American regardless of them being criminals. Some places are passing Legislation to take the DNA of anyone arrested before any type of conviction.
