ACS hiring for 300 positions at job fair Wednesday

Affiliated Computer Services Inc., or ACS, will try to fill 300 jobs at its East Side call center during a job fair on Wednesday.
The jobs are to take calls from customers for a wireless phone company.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or GED, at least six months of customer service experience and computer and Smartphone skills.

The fair will be held from 9 a.m.-noon on Wednesday at the Workforce Solutions Upper Rio Grande employment office, 1359 Lomaland, in the Cactus Room.

They are big BIG facilitators of government outsourcing. One of their employees allowed a huge security breach at a country jail almost ten years ago. They have listings in my area, and I applied online, but haven't heard a peep.
