Lewis Carroll was odd enough, but Shafter High School is taking his work to new levels of trippy.

Is nothing sacred anymore....are we not allowed any of our own culture, customs, or fantasy characters .....just what the hell was wrong with calling it Alice in Wonderland...Poor Walt, I don't think he will be happy about this...

well one thing they can't change as it would do them no good, and was my favorite thing "Its a small world after all" UNLESS they made it all Hispanic...something La Raza would approve of!!

Well no, that would be racist if American's didn't let other ethnicities walk all over us and take what we have and try to twist it into their own culture!

I'm sorry, but I find this completely offensive. I came from Argentina and could care less about Mexican culture. Mexicans, as a culture, are rabidly racist. I do not want my children learning about their culture and racism!

Will this school now allow OTHER cultures to put on plays pushing their own cultures? I am against this, culture should be taught at home.

Mexican Culture being taught in our schools!! I wonder if anyone takes the time to listen to kids. The culture that I hear kids refer to are about how white kids can't go in certain hallways because the Mexican kids have taken them over. How Mexican kids cut in lines. How white kids can't say anything to a Mexican because of their gang mentality, you can't have a disagreement or say anything to one without others jumping in ready to fight. Just like LaRaza they like to imtimidate anyone that isn't Mexican.

Kids learn from behaviour from experience. They aren't born with prejudice or hatred. It isn't activist that are spreading this anger across America. It is a sad day when you hear children making the distinction between Mexican and being white washed.

Instead of calling American racist's and exploiting our fairy tales it would be nice if groups like LaRaza would spend a little more time educating their children how to assimilate into our culture without imtimidation.
