    It all has to do with peparation process. Unclean surfaces, mixing utensils and uneducated food preparers are all to blame. But it seems to be happening more frequently lately. There needs to be more supervision.

    About any kind of animal can have salmonella. The organism itself needs a wet body to survive. The oocysts/eggs expelled with fecal matter are the problem. They can survive for long periods until ingested by a host. The peanuts get roasted to a temperature that should kill any organisms and eggs. Fecal contamination from animals or humans likely entered the process after that.

    OH YUCK!Sometimes ignorance is bliss! Well let's see, guess I am going to have to add peanut butter to my long list of no mores.

    I was only razing, ignorance is really not bliss, it is just ignorance, we have to be on guard and vigilant at all times, there is something very wrong with our nations food supply we all know that.
