Thread: Anyone getting through to the Senate?

Have the phone system crashed again? As soon as I call either of my Senators, the phone rings once and then crashes to a busy signal???

I'm not getting through.

The phone lines are busy.

Keep calling!

Keep bringing the phone lines down.

Get ahold of Dodd and ask his staff when the "hearings are"?

New bill is 451 pages long and full of specials for lobbists.

I kept calling and calling and finally got thru.

I asked for McCains office and it is always busy.

the vote is on and they have to be scared out of their wits.

McCains mail box is full and his phone lines are packed.

If he is not hearing the voice of America today then he is deaf.

Same here. I started early...Your post was the first thing I saw this AM.

Earlier, I was receiving voice mail...now a fast busy.

No, but for what it is worth I left a message to Pelosi on her comment line. Basically saying the blame lies with the progressive liberals and groups like ACORN that handed loans out, threatened banks if they didn't give out loans and that I was fuming mad. Mad because illegals got loans and every other moron that never should have had one!!! I know it probably doesn't do much good but I had to vent. Anyway for what its worth her line was open.

No, I could only leave comments but emails did go through. I cannot get through at all to my Rep. Due to the high volume right now, email is not going through.

I got thru to Dodds office twice, to Feinstein and Boxer and Chamblis.

I am now trying to get thru to Harry Reid and Dodd again.

Just hit speed dial or re-dial.

We are just hours from the votes and Lou Dobbs is on and he is ripping this bill apart.

I just got the capital operator and asked for Feinstein and Boxers office again. The capital operator said both of the lines were busy.

I said I had problems getting thru and asked if the phones were busy and she said "you think". I laughed and she said the phones are barely staying up - calls have been non-stop all day.

So just keep calling. They need to know the American people are watching every single move they make.

get through 1 in about 40 must be close to a crash on the phone system
