Arizona sheriff's deputy, wife indicted for embezzlement

SIERRA VISTA, AZ - A Cochise County Sheriff’s deputy, along with his wife, is accused of embezzling nearly $1 million from a Sierra Vista doctor’s office.

The Arizona Attorney General’s Office says Deputy Victor Lopez and his wife Angelina Lopez have been indicted on charges of theft, fraudulent schemes, and conspiracy.

According to court documents, while employed as a bookkeeper at Sierra Vista Medical, Angelina Lopez stole money and used it for personal expenses. Victor Lopez is accused of advising his wife in the theft. Officials say the pair had committed fraud for several years.

Documents say the theft occurred from August 2005 until December 2009.

Not any of them can be trusted, they will steal a hat off of a deceased person head, if they had a chance to do so. The worst crooks anyone could ever encounter.
