Is this not the most selfish act a politician could commit?? Does this not show the greed and corruption. This thing knew he could not win in the Republican party race so he switches over to the democratic party (which he has been ALL along).

And shouldn't he resign his seat since he does not (nor EVER has) represented the republican party? Now they are getting even closer to a filibuster proof senate!! And look how close the biggest idiot of all al franken is to getting in office through corruption.

This is one GREAT example as to why I am an independent now!!

At 79 years old, Spector finally comes out of the closet? What a big shocker this news is.

No matter what party I am affiliated with, I would never vote for this crook.
