Referring to gun restriction bills not becoming law, @HillaryClinton in town hall refers to minority that "terrorizes" the majority

    5:30 PM - 17 Jun 2014

It appears that the woman who was so corrupt that she was thrown out of the Watergate trial isn’t a fan of guns in the hands of anyone except Vince Foster.
During a town hall meeting today, Clinton said that American gun owners opposed to universal background checks—an prerequisite for registration and confiscation— are terrorizing the rest of the nation.
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton spoke about her views on gun control Tuesday, saying she was “disappointed” Congress did not pass a universal background checks bill after “the horrors” of the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting.
“I believe that we need a more thoughtful conversation, we cannot let a minority of people — and that’s what it is, it is a minority of people — hold a viewpoint that terrorizes the majority of people,” Clinton said during a CNN town hall.
Clinton said she feels for parents sending their kids to school, noting that there have been 74 school shootings since Sandy Hook.
“I don’t think any parent, any person, should have to fear about their child going to school or going to college because someone, for whatever reasons — psychological, emotional, political, ideological, whatever it means — could possibly enter that school property with an automatic weapon and murder innocent children, students, teachers,” Clinton said.
Of course, there are those pesky facts that keep ruining Hillary’s arguments, like the fact that universal background checks wouldn’t have prevented any of the nation’s high-profile school attacks at Columbine, Virginia Tech, Sandy Hook, or the more recent attacks on Isla Vista, Seattle Pacific, or Reynolds High School.
Universal background checks have precisely one use, and one use only: creating an unofficial paper trail that can then be leveraged into a de facto gun registry, which is turn is useful for confiscatory efforts like those we see taking place in California.
Clinton also cited the thoroughly debunked and discredited “74 school shootings” meme created by the execrable Moms Demand Action/Everytown, which was roundly debunked by both CNN and PolitiFact.
And of course, Mrs. Clinton knows well the difference between automatic weapons and semi-automatic weapons, and she knows that legally owned automatic weapons have been used for precisely one murder since 1934, and that automatic weapons have not been manufactured for the civilian market since 1986 when FOPA ’86 became law, 28 years ago.

The blood clot the 66-year-old Clinton suffered that resulted in a very long recovery period out of the public eye must have caused more damage to her brain than anyone suspected.
    Bless her heart.

BREAKING: Hillary Clinton Says Gun Owners “Terrorize” People, Supports “Assault Weapons” Ban

    June 17 2014
    by Dan Cannon

    Video at the page link:

Take your blood pressure meds before watching this one folks.
Most Democrats at least try to dance around the issue of guns, especially when it comes to banning them, however, not Hillary, not here.
The former First Lady, and possible 2016 Democratic presidential nominee said in a recent town hall style interview with CNN that she supports reinstating the federal assault weapons ban, supports bans on standard capacity magazines, and touted the debunked 74 school shootings since Sandy Hook stat was brought up by the teacher speaking to Hillary.
“I believe that we need a more thoughtful conversation, we cannot let a minority of people — and that’s what it is, it is a minority of people — hold a viewpoint that terrorizes the majority of people,”
“I don’t think any parent, any person, should have to fear about their child going to school or going to college because someone, for whatever reasons — psychological, emotional, political, ideological, whatever it means — could possibly enter that school property with an automatic weapon and murder innocent children, students, teachers/”
It should be noted that even CNN has debunked the statistic put out by Everytown for gun safety that there have been 74 school shootings since Sandy Hook. CNN found only 15 instances that would truly be classified as school shootings, and by definition only one of those would be classified as a mass shooting.
Clinton also repeatedly mentions “automatic weapons”. We assume she means semi-automatic weapons since automatic weapons are very strictly controlled as well as incredibly expensive. Legally owned automatic weapons have been used in 2 documented instances of crime over the last 75 years.
I know a lot of hoopla has been made about Obama’s anti-gun politics, and make no mistake, if he had the support in Congress he would be much more aggressive on guns, but if Hillary Clinton is elected president we will see the most aggressive anti-gun president in the history of this nation.

JUST BREAKING: Hillary Clinton Calls Gun Rights Advocates Terrorists!

By Eric Reed on June 17, 2014 in BuzzPo, Civil Rights, Gun control, Politics

At a CNN town hall meeting tonight, Hillary Clinton spoke about various issues including, you guessed it, GUN CONTROL! Clinton’s remarks were appalling to put it mildly. She alleged that gun rights advocates are terrorists! Her quote is below.
We cannot let a minority of people — and that’s what it is, it is a minority of people — hold a viewpoint that terrorizes the majority of people . . . We’re going to have to do a better job protecting the vast majority of our citizens, including our children, from that very, very, very small group that is unfortunately prone to violence and now with automatic weapons can wreak so much more violence than they ever could have before.”
This is quite possibly the most offensive quote I’ve heard all year! First and foremost, I am a gun rights advocate, and I know that we are not the minority. By Clinton stating that she can’t allow us to “hold a viewpoint,” it’s not only a violation of our 2nd Amendment rights, but a violation of our 1st Amendment rights as well.
But that wasn’t enough for Hillary! Not by any means. She further implies that we’re (gun rights advocates) “unfortunately prone to violence!”
    EXCUSE ME!
Ms. Clinton, I’ll have you know that as a very proud gun rights activist, a gun collector, a former law enforcement officer, an airline captain, a husband, and a father, I’ve never hurt anybody! There’s not a violent bone in my body! And I’m speaking for the majority of ALL gun rights advocates. Maybe, just maybe, you should check your facts, and state a reliable source while you’re at it.

Oh, I forgot….. “What difference does it make!”

Eric Reed is the President and Founder of Gun Rights Across America (GRAA). They have chapters in all 50 states, and a membership of over 200,000 freedom loving Americans. GRAA wholeheartedly believes that the Second Amendment is worth fighting for.

During a televised town hall, Hillary Clinton was asked about guns, and said that the viewpoint held by gun-rights advocates “terrorizes” the majority of Americans.
The town hall, broadcast live on CNN on Tuesday, closely resembled a commercial for Clinton’s new memoir, “Hard Choices.”
“I was disappointed that the Congress did not pass universal background checks after the horrors of the shootings at Sandy Hook and now we’ve had more,” said Clinton in response to a question from a Maryland teacher named Gloria Santa Maria.
“Seventy-four more,” Santa Maria interjected, seemingly referencing a now-debunked claim made last week by the pro-gun control group Everytown for Gun Safety.
Everytown published a graphical map, which CNN aired, purporting to show 74 school shootings that have occurred since the December 14, 2012 massacre at Sandy Hook elementary school in Connecticut.
The network later corrected the claim saying that only 15 of the 74 shootings that occurred at schools had factors similar to the shooting at Sandy Hook, in which Adam Lanza killed 26 people, mostly children.
Many of the 74 shootings involved interpersonal disputes and other criminal activity, though neither Clinton nor Amanpour corrected Santa Maria’s statistic. (RELATED: CNN Slashes School Shooting Stats Claim By 80 Percent)
“We cannot let a minority of people – and that’s what it is, it is a minority of people – hold a viewpoint that terrorizes the majority of people,” said Clinton.
The former secretary of state and likely 2016 presidential candidate also made imprecise references to “automatic” weapons.
“I don’t think any parent, any person should have to fear about their child going to school or going to college because someone…could possibly enter that school property with an automatic weapon and murder innocent children, students, teachers,” she said.
“We’re going to have to do a better job protecting the vast majority of our citizens, including our children, from that very, very, very small group that is unfortunately prone to violence and now with automatic weapons can wreak so much more violence than they ever could have before.”
Automatic weapons are tightly regulated in the United States and were not used in the Sandy Hook shooting.

Speaking at a CNN town hall event, Hillary Clinton argued a “ban” on semi-automatic rifles and high-capacity magazines would help reduce gun violence. Clinton then made a glaring error when making an emotional plea to promote gun control. She said she couldn’t understand how an individual could walk into a school with an “automatic weapon” and “murder innocent children, students, teachers.” In fact, automatic weapons are highly regulated and very difficult to acquire.

WASHINGTON (TheBlaze/AP) — Speaking at a CNN town hall event Tuesday, Hillary Rodham Clinton argued a “ban” on semi-automatic rifles — or so-called “assault rifles” — as well as high-capacity magazines would help reduce gun violence in the United States.
“What’s been happening with these school shootings should cause everybody to just think hard,” she said. “I was disappointed that the Congress did not pass universal background checks after the horrors of the shooting at Sandy Hook and now we’ve had more in the time since.”
Clinton, thought to be a likely 2016 presidential candidate, then made a glaring error when making an emotional plea to promote gun control.
She said she couldn’t understand how an individual could walk into a school with an “automatic weapon” and “murder innocent children, students, teachers.” In fact, automatic weapons are highly regulated and very difficult to acquire. It is likely the former first lady was actually referring to semi-automatic weapons.
She referred to “automatic weapons” for a second time later during the town hall, saying they can do more damage than ever before. There have been two homicides committed with legally owned fully automatic weapons since 1934, according to GunCite.com.
“I will speak out no matter what role I find myself in,” Clinton added. “We cannot let a minority of people… hold a viewpoint that terrorizes the majority of people.”
The former secretary of state also personally addressed the mother of one of the Americans killed in Benghazi during a CNN town hall event on Tuesday, saying she can “totally relate to her as a mother or to any of the family members of the four Americans who were killed that night.”
“I can see why she and others are inconsolable,” she said.
Clinton was referring to Patricia Smith, the mother of slain American diplomat Sean Smith. Smith has criticized Clinton and the Obama administration for telling what she believes isn’t the whole truth. She also questioned why it took nearly two years for the administration to capture a suspect who wasn’t even in hiding.
Her appearance came hours after the Obama administration announced the capture of a Libyan militant suspected in the deadly Sept. 11, 2012, attack in Benghazi, Libya. Clinton said the capture showed the U.S. has an “an unwavering commitment to bring to justice” those who commit acts of terror against the U.S.
Republicans have criticized Clinton’s handling of the Benghazi attack, which killed U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans. GOP officials have accused the Obama administration of stonewalling congressional investigators and misleading the public about the nature of the attack in the weeks before the presidential election.
Clinton said during the forum that she was “still looking for answers because it was a confusing and difficult time.”
She also expressed caution about the United States working with Iran to combat fast-moving Islamic insurgents in Iraq, saying the U.S. needs to understand “what we’re getting ourselves into.”
The U.S. and Iran have held an initial discussion about how the longtime foes might cooperate to address the threat from the al-Qaida-linked militants that have swept through Iraq. The former secretary of state said at a CNN town hall meeting that any partnerships with third parties such as Iran would need to be “carefully thought through.”
“I am not prepared to say that we go in with Iran right now, until we have a better idea what we’re getting ourselves into,” said the former secretary of state.
Clinton spoke during an hourlong forum to promote her new book, “Hard Choices,” about her four years as President Barack Obama’s secretary of state. Clinton is the leading Democratic presidential candidate in 2016 if she decides to run for president again.
U.S. and Iranian officials have both raised concerns about the swift advance of radical Islamist forces in Iraq and officials from the two countries met here briefly Monday. The White House, however, has ruled out the possibility that Washington and Tehran might coordinate military operations in Iraq.

Hillary Clinton, the former US Secretary of State that was blamed for the Benghazi massacre, unsurprisingly supports a ban on “assault weapons.”

“We cannot let a minority of people — and that’s what it is, a minority of people — hold a viewpoint that terrorizes the majority of people,” Clinton said in response to a question during a town hall forum. “You are about the fifth person in the past few weeks — parents, another teacher, interested citizens — who have said something similar to me.”
Despite her apparent (and convenient) regard for the well-being of hapless Americans, Clinton is historically unconcerned with the safety of others as long as her agenda is served. It was on her watch that 4 Americans lost their lives in Benghazi, and she gleefully destroyed the life and reputation of a 12 year old rape victim during her days as a public defender. Hillary Clinton is likely to be the name on the ballot for the Democratic Party’s 2016 presidential bid.

Oops, Hillary Flubs At Trying To Play Gun Control Expert While Calling For New Gun Bans

At a CNN town hall event on Tuesday, former Secretary of State and possible 2016 Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton argued for gun control. She called for a ban on high capacity magazines and on so-called assault rifles, which are semi-automatic rifles that have a more tactical appearance.
However, Hillary appears to have made a mistake when she went further. She appears to have confused the definitions of “automatic” and “semi-automatic” firearms.
    From The Blaze:
Clinton, thought to be a likely 2016 presidential candidate, then made a glaring error when making an emotional plea to promote gun control.

Here’s a helpful guide on firearms: Semi-automatic firearms only fire one bullet every time you pull the trigger, regardless of what kind of scary features you put on the firearm. Automatic firearms fire more than one bullet when you pull the trigger, and they have been tightly regulated since 1934.
If you don’t know what kind of firearms you want to ban, you probably shouldn’t be calling for new gun bans.

Hillary Clinton Attacks Drudge & Second Amendment In Texas Visit

Americans who don't believe in gun control are "intimidating" the population, according to presumptive presidential candidate

    by David Knight & Kit Daniels | Infowars.com | June 22, 2014
At her recent book signing in Austin, Texas, Hillary Clinton said that Americans who don’t believe in gun control are “intimidating” the population, in addition to suggesting that the Drudge Report and independent media carry “bad information.”

In her characterization of the Drudge Report as “bad information,” Clinton alluded to the “marketplace of ideas,” in which the truth will emerge from the competition of ideas in a public discourse, when she suggested that the alternative media can be countered with establishment spin, which is “truth” in her mind.
“…There’s so much opinion and information out there in the world and the best way to deal with bad information is with good information, right,” she said to Infowars.
Yet when it comes to Americans who don’t believe in gun control, Hillary is not in favor of a marketplace of ideas because, according to her, they are not debating the issue but are rather “intimidating” the population with their beliefs.
“What I meant to say and think I did say, that a minority that believes in absolutely no restrictions is terrorizing the majority,” she stated to Infowars. “I think universal background checks are imminently reasonable under the Constitution and I believe that they should have been passed after the murders at Sandy Hook and now we have many more murders.”
“They can, they can keep talking (inaudible) but they do more than talk; in my opinion they intimidate.”
So if you think that restrictions are infringements, just as the Constitution puts them, then you are “terrorizing” and “intimidating” the population, according to Hillary.
It certainly seems that to her, freedom of speech is great in principle, but when it conflicts with her agenda, it’s terrorizing.
Also, in a bout of hypocrisy, Hillary clarified to us, after we had to pass through layers of security at the book signing to even reach her, that the 99% of Americans without an army of security guards should just shut up about their right to keep and bear arms for self-defense.
To her, the “right of the people” to keep and bear arms is not an absolute right. Anyone in government – federal, state or local – can put restrictions on it as they wish. She can call for rights to be restricted with bans on high capacity magazines, assault weapons (however they’re defined) and background checks.
But turning our God-given rights into government granted privileges by incremental restrictions is infringement; they simply reduce the Bill of Rights into a “Suggestion of Privileges.”
And don’t expect those who show contempt for some of our rights to respect any of them at all, especially not Hillary Clinton.
