I am glad you are watching my dear friend. It is so lovely Judy. And yes, they are so real and you can see and hear it in their words.

    The music is beautiful.

    Michael W. Smith sang.

Now, "He Lives" with the Bill Gaither group.

Oh so glad to know the name of the group, GeorgiaPeach, they are just wonderful. Enjoyed hearing them so much. I always loved the song, "He Lives". Yes, so real, down to earth, humble, peaceful.

Ruth Graham tells a very personal story of a failed marriage, the disappointment after being counseled to wait by her parents and family.

She drove home broken and wondered what her parents would say. There was her father waiting to greet her. He put his arms around her and said, "Welcome Home."

Ruth - My Father was not God but he showed me what God was like that day.

    (Video)

    ************

    Franklin Graham speaks:

Addressing the President, First Lady, Vice President, Karen, and Billy Graham's Friends.

Today my father is in heaven, his journey is complete.

I cannot remember my father without my mother. He loved her.

He had a big picture of her at the foot of his bed.

They would look look at each other for hours when she was sick in bed.

I can still hear his voice, a word of encouragement and caution.

    We would take walks together.

The Billy Graham the world saw in stadiums was the same Billy Graham

    Uncompromising testimony of Jesus.

The vision I remember most was my father standing behind a podium, his voice booming, proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ.

If he could speak to you today he would ask will you be making this journey one day.

The Bible was his sole authority. His sermons were full of scriptures.

My father believed in heaven, he also believed in hell.

All should come to repentance, he wanted to warn people that there is a judgement.

We are separated by sin from God.

God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son.

Gives hope to the list world.

2,000 years ago God broke the dRkness of sin.

By grace, through faith you are saved.

I am the way, the truth, the life.

No one comes but by Jesus.

My father looked forward to this journey all of his life.

If this was your funeral would you be making the journey.

Jesus says I am the truth, the life.

Jesus promises eternal life, no one comes to eternal life but through him.

    Jesus was
God in the flesh, the only one to take our sins.

He took them to the cross. He shed his blood for our sins.

He will come into every heart.

Believe in the name Jesus Christ, are you trusting him as your savior.

No better time than now at Billy Graham's funeral.

    Pray a simple prayer.

I last visited with my father on February 18.

To meet him in heaven was the throne of God and his family and friends to greet him and to rejoice as another child of God came home.

I may see you soon daddy, not now, but someday.

    To God be the glory.

    ******

Singing, Praise the Lord, great things He has done.

    Bagpipes being played. "Amazing Grace."

    "Going Home" plays.

The simple pine casket of the preacher, Billy Graham, with a cross at the top , made by prisoners, is being rolled along and through the door of the barn with a huge cross you pass through.

A private service being held now inside.

Billy Graham will lay to rest at the Prayer Garden at the Billy Graham library alongside his faithful wife and companion, Ruth Graham.

His memorable stone will say preacher with his birth to death dates and the verse, John 14:6.

"6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

He is not there, he now lives with Jesus in heaven.

So beautiful. I just knew they wouldn't close without Just As I Am, my favorite song of all time (even though I was getting a little nervous they might not, so when I heard the bag pipes, I had to smile, he had this song at the end of all his sermons, at least every one I saw and heard). Just As I Am was playing at the end of our church service when I was saved. I was 8. I remember that day like it was yesterday.

Thank you for sharing this Judy. And for your special moment of salvation. I like to say I came out saved and loving Jesus. But I was around 6 or so when I accepted him in public. I vividly remember the day I met with the pastor in his office. My mom was concerned I may not really understand but I sure did. I was blessed to talk to my pastor from that the time several years ago to thank him for sharing the message of salvation. He was around 90 and it is a memory to treasure.
