Holiday sunshine; 80 on Christmas?

Sunshine and warm temperatures continue to dominate the holiday week in Orange County, with thermometers possibly nudging up as high as 80 on Christmas Day, the National Weather Service says.
High-pressure air off the coast is keeping things warm, while more high pressure over the Great Basin pushes winds in our direction from the east and northeast.
Low pressure, meanwhile, might bring a return of clouds and modest cooling by the weekend, but so far that's uncertain.
