    Ridiculous! LGBT is a controversial topic and identifying historical figures as gay, transgender, etc. without an in-depth discussion on exactly what one is could be very confusing to elementary aged children and that is a discussion that shouldn't be taking place in a 3rd grade class without parental consent! California's educators, along with many of its legislatures, have gone completely bonkers.

    Terrible to impose such things on the little children and to offer no opt out option for parents. California is indoctrinating children as early as possible.

    It is as if there no escape in California from liberal and progressive ideas for those who reject them. You will submit.

    The mark of obama is amongst us & upon our vulnerable children - only he could institute such screwed up, out of place for kids teachings, mandated too. Do we not have other politicians that woulda,shoulda put their foot down?
