Thread: California school district: Free meals during the summer

We need to show up to these wearing fatigues, paratrooper boots, with INS patches on our arms and hats

You're right.

When we were growing up people had pride and dignity, no matter what their financial circumstances. Social programs were the very LAST thing anyone ever wanted to turn to and it was a huge source of shame for someone to find themselves in that position.

When we were kids, it mortified us that we might be labeled as being "poor" which was the favorite tactic of bullies to ensure relentless torment and ostrascism for their victim.

I still remember the two or three kids in our school who received free lunches because their fathers were ill, or had been injured, and could not work. Those kids were so ashamed that they'd have rather gone hungry than present that tell tale free lunch ticket everyday for everyone to see. Their families were so humiliated they couldn't even hold their heads up if and when they attended school events.

And these were people who had no reason to be ashamed.

People had self respect, dignity, and pride back then. Illegals display none of it and I really find that ironic considering that they are the first ones pounding their chest talking about their "pride", their "dignity" and demanding that they be not only recognized but fully respected because of it.

Yeah, I saw a family of SIX pile into a Ford Explorer today at the mall while my family of four got into our little Yaris Sedan. This was a newer SUV. Made me wonder how much longer they can afford to drive it.

Of course they were not speaking English.

(sigh). I CANT BELIEVE THIS. NO WONDER THE STATE IS BROKE. AND ARNIE IS CUTTING SERVICES TO BALANCE THE BUDGET. BUT THEY ARE GIVING AWAY FREE FOOD?

We have commercials that actually promote the food stamp program. Social programs breed losers and democrats.

Yeah, I saw a family of SIX pile into a Ford Explorer today at the mall while my family of four got into our little Yaris Sedan. This was a newer SUV. Made me wonder how much longer they can afford to drive it.

Hmmm......well, at least for as long as they stay in CA where those welfare checks.....in addition to the unreported, untaxed income...... the free breakfast, lunch, education, and medical care keep rolling in, I would imagine.

The camels back is broken in California, we're running out of money and taxpayers! The illegals will now have to head to other states to get their government funded freebies before long.
