Can you folks in TX send NC some rain?

    ALIPAC Friends in TX

Can you spare some rain? Most of NC is under severe drought conditions and our rivers, lakes, and resevoirs are down several feet! All the grass is dead and dying and most of us have given up on our gardens. Our crops are in terrible shape too.

Dean is Cat 2, looks like it's headed our way too!

houston, I bet you got hammered today!

We have had so much rain this year. My yard looks like a jungle. The vines have overtaken my rose bushes and trees.

Wish we would send it your way!

Here in Central TExas, we had far too much rain until about a month ago - then nothing. We got a short shower today and it was much needed.

We could have sent you some back April through July - but kinda short ourselves right now.

Yes, husband has just about worn himself out keeping the lawn mowed. Usually he gets to stop mowing about the first of June.

I hate to see anyone pounded with the hurricane - but it usually does send some needed rain on inland.

Grass? you guys still have grass out there? Last winter we got six and a half inches out here.
Fire service has said there is no moisture in the plants and fire danger is extremly high.
