According to this, Obamacare not only sucks monkeyballs from an implementation and website and transparency perspective, but it's also about to cost you. Cost US. A LOT.

Even though most insurance companies are staying kinda mum on this whole tax/fee thing, BCBS of Alabama released the "Affordable Care Act Fees and Taxes" as a separate line item.

And here's what it looked like:
1. 2% levy on every health plan (which will net around $8 billion for the government the first year, and then up to $14.3 by 2018.)
2. $2 per policy fee for a "medical research trust fund."
3. 3.5% user fee for insurers to sell their plans on healthcare.gov (which will undoubtedly be passed on to consumers.)
4. 2.3% medical device tax
5. New medicare tax

So open up your wallets, clever and competent readers! You've got bills to pay, for stuff you didn't want. Hop to it.
