Yeah, Melania wears red all the time, Trump wear his red tie, white shirt and blue suits, all the time, the Chinese wear blue a lot because it's a peaceful color, so no reason at all for JD2's DNC emails not to create a big color of attire ta-do during a state visit between the President's of two countries. But what amazes me most is the DNC emails MISSED the red and yellow centerpieces of the lunch and dinner arrangements, color selections to honor the visitors to our great country.

Everyone needs to go to the library and check out The Good Earth, by Pearl S Buck, and read up on China and then read War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy, and read up on Russia.

These countries are not our enemies and never have been. They are our Ole Allies and always will be. They are countries of people who have suffered enormously and overcome but owe their lives and existence to the United States, something neither one will ever forget, because they both still do. That doesn't mean that we're always going to agree on everything, but the one thing we will always agree upon forever is no more World War.

China lost 20 million people during WWII, Russia lost 28 million. These two countries know first-hand the consequences of War. Americans really don't because so few were ever fought on our soil and the ones that were, we initiated ourselves.

Since the picture I posted is from an LA Times article I don't have any idea what you are going on about a DNC email.

The two-day summit at the Winter White House is officially underway, with Thursday afternoon’s arrival of China President Xi Jinping and his wife Peng Liyuan.

China’s first couple touched down in West Palm Beach aboard Air Force One with President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump. While their husbands kept things businesslike wearing suits and ties, their respective wives weren’t quite so formal. Peng wore white cropped pants, a black hip-length coat and an Yves Klein blue billowing scarf. FLOTUS stepped across the tarmac in her signature stilettos and a sleeveless black V-neck dress with a cinched wide black leather belt.

For Thursday night’s dinner at Mar-a-Lago, the First Lady chose a vibrant red square-necked dress, while Liyuan chose a floral motif with a mandarin collar with a purple velvet scarf folded neatly on her left arm. Jinping and Trump stuck with navy business suits and ties in a shade that coordinated with their wives.

China’s First Lady is known to be right by her husband’s side for global appearances in the four years since her husband took over the top job. Two months into her husband’s administration, Melania Trump has taken on a more public role in recent weeks. Earlier Thursday at the White House she stood beside the President at the Wounded Warrior Project Soldier Ride event. And On Wednesday she was not be missed in a shamrock green long-sleeve dress when visiting an all-girls’ charter school Queen Rania Al-Abdullah of Jordan in Washington, D.C.

Earlier in the week the release of FLOTUS’ official portrait caused more of a stir for her arms-crossed pose than her black made-in-Italy Dolce & Gabbana attire.

While Trump and Jinping try to resolve some trade, security and economic issues on Friday, their wives are expected to visit a local Palm Beach school. Like the former model, Liyuan was a public figure before she became a married woman. China’s first lady was a popular singing star with the People’s Liberation Army for a number of years. Perhaps she will lend an ear to Ivanka Trump’s five-year-old daughter Arabella, who has appeared more than once in an Instagram post singing Chinese songs, including one in honor of the Chinese New Year that has been viewed more than 1.6 million times.

After Debbie, China seeks US coal

I am not convinced China is our friend - in fact, I don't believe they are. I don't say they have notions of military fight against us - but they are definitely winning the economic war. They don't have to wage war to win, they simply pay our politicians to allow them to buy us all - using our monies the politicians helped them in getting, via our trade deals.

China was our ally during WWII. They needed us and Japan was a common enemy. As a communist country or as a capitalist/communist country, I don't call them that. Of course, Wall Street, our politicians think they are great - they spread money around.

No, thankfully, we haven't had the wars the Chinese and many other countries have, but Americans are so gullible, and many so greedy, there is no need to wage military war.

I read a speech purported to be made by some Communist (Russian) leader - cold war era. He said they had no desire or plans to wage war on America and no need. All they had to do was control the minds of one generation. They would convince them to give up their belief in God and country, involve them in drugs and promiscuous sex, and in another generation they could walk in and take over.

If you consider the hippie generation as 'that' generation, I'd say they have just about accomplished their goal.

They may have to fight the Mexicans for it.
