    "A law enforcement source told the Los Angeles Times that Luther, 49, was a member of the Vagos motorcycle gang. He had a criminal record that dates back to the 1990s and was released from state prison in 2007, the paper reported.
    His father, Dennis Luther, told KTLA that his son previously served 10 years behind bars for attempted murder."
