CNN SHOWS SOLDIER KILLED

Well as you all know, CNN took it upon themselves to show a story about soldiers getting killed by snipers in Iraq. Not only that, they actually show the soldier being shot and killed!!
This is the most irresponsible exploitation in media I have ever seen.
Many of you weighed in with your thoughts this morning and none of you thought too much of CNN and what they did.
The decision to air the tape was subject to “hours of intense editorial debate” at CNN’s highest levels, Doss said. He said he had already received several angry responses from viewers, some wondering whether CNN was helping the enemy and others concerned the tape was inappropriate for young viewers who happened upon it.
Well there is one politican who is doing something about this-Duncan Hunter.
Mr. Hunter was on the program this morning talking about his course of action in this matter.

I didn't see it. But could it be any worse than the four americas that were ambushed, shot, burned, mutilated and then hung from a bridge in Fallujah, Iraq. I watched the video of that. And i'll tellya, I wasn't impressed.

The tape was provided to CNN by the insurgents. This alone was reason for not showing it! The insurgents are using our own media against us. Basically, this was an insurgent provided American soldier snuff tape and CNN lapped it up like a kitten to warm milk! IMHO, CNN's act of airing this tape is absolutely disgusting.

I hope that the family of that soldier does not watch it. What a horror.

I agree MW. I have not seen it. I disagree with showing this also.
