Cuban Journalist Exposes US Terror

Rhodes, Greece, Sep 29 (Prensa Latina) US double morality regarding terrorism was evident Friday in this city during a speech by Cuban journalist Reinaldo Taladrid in the Political Commission of the World Public Forum "Dialogue on Civilizations."

Referring to the unpardonable 9 11 terrorist action in New York, Taladrid said Cuba has lost in four decades more lives than those in the World Trade Center crime.

US governments have planned, financed and organized innumerable violent actions against Cuba since January 1, 1959, stated the renowned Cuban TV anchorman.

As an example he presented the case of terrorist Luis Posada Carriles, mastermind of the explosion in mid air of a Cuban airplane with 73 people aboard on October 6, 1976.

"This infamous terrorist," stated Taladrid, "tried to destroy with explosives in Panama a building occupied by hundreds of people at an act with the presence of Cuban President Fidel Castro."

Posada Carriles also ordered the placing of bombs in Havana hotels and the island's other tourist resorts, recalled the reporter.
