Dem delegate: Israel must be 'terminated'

    Calls Jewish state 'cancerous tumor'

A senior leader for the Council on American-Islamic Relations in a tweet Sunday called for Israel to be “terminated.”

“Iran’s regime calling Israel a ‘cancerous tumor’ is like the pot calling the kettle black. All the people of that region will be better off once both murderous regimes are terminated,” wrote Hussam Ayloush, the Investigative Project on Terrorism, or IPT, reported.

IPT said the tweet might lead one to assume Ayloush, the head of the Los Angeles chapter of CAIR, has an equal disdain for the Islamic Republic of Iran and Israel.
But while Ayloush would like to see regime change in Iran, he has “a history of describing Israel in ways that echo Iranian rhetoric calling for its destruction,” IPT said Monday.
A delegate in California’s Democratic Party, he has referred to Israelis as “zionazis” and repeatedly equated the Israel Defense Force with ISIS terrorists.
“You know how many hundreds of Jewish American kids are recruited to join the Israeli occupation army? Hundreds. Every year,” Ayloush said in May.
“They leave their country, leave America, to go join with an army that is engaged, with no debate, in major violations of human rights, and maybe some would argue, and I’m one of them, war crimes.”
The CAIR leader, continuing the equation of jihadists with IDF soldiers, added that the U.S. government has never established a Department of Homeland Security counter-terrorism program to track Americans who go fight for the IDF.
No one, he said, has ever sought to find out “why would normal Jewish American kids leave their home and join to be part of an army committing war crimes.”
IPT cited British Muslim Maajid Nawaz, a former radical who now fights Islamic supremacist movements, called that kind of comparison “frankly insane.”
The U.S. State Department would categorize it as anti-Semitic, IPT said. Demonizing Israel by drawing comparisons “of contemporary Israeli policy to that of the Nazis” and “denying Israel the right to exist” are among the behaviors regarded as anti-Semitic, the State Department said in 2010.
IPT pointed out that Ayloush “did not call for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to be voted out and replaced by someone less hawkish in the conflict with Palestinians.”
“He called for it to be terminated.”
IPT also noted Ayloush bristles at any suggestion that Hamas is a terrorist organization.
The FBI blacklisted CAIR from outreach programs after the Islamic organization was named an unindicted co-conspirator in a plot to fund Hamas, a State Department-designated foreign terrorist organization.
In the 2007 trial, the FBI presented evidence CAIR was founded as a Muslim Brotherhood-Hamas front group. More than a dozen CAIR leaders have been charged or convicted of terrorism-related crimes. And the group also was designated a terrorist organization by the United Arab Emirates.

CNN commentator calls for elimination of Israel, endorses violent Palestinian ‘resistance’

    by Philip Klein | November 28, 2018 03:28 PM

CNN commentator Marc Lamont Hill, in a Wednesday speech to the United Nations, called for violent resistance against Israel and advocated expanding Palestine “from the river to the sea,” a phrase used by those who believe that Israel should be eliminated.
Hill, who has a long history of anti-Semitism, made the remarks at a U.N. event commemorating the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People. He said the international community should boycott Israel and allow Palestinians more space to engage in violence against the Jewish state, arguing that violence was also employed to end “American apartheid.”
"Tactics otherwise divergent from Dr. King or Gandhi were equally important to preserving safety and attaining freedom,” he said, according to an account in Arutz Sheva. “If we are in true solidarity, we must allow them the same range of opportunity and political possibility. We must recognize the right of an occupied people to defend themselves. We must prioritize peace, but we must not romanticize or fetishize it. We must promote nonviolence at every opportunity, but cannot endorse narrow politics that shames Palestinians for resisting, for refusing to do nothing in ethnic cleansing."
"Justice requires a free Palestine from the river to the sea," Hill thunderously concluded.
The phrase “from the river to the sea” has been a rallying cry for Hamas and other terrorist groups seeking the elimination of Israel, as a Palestinian state stretching from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea would mean that Israel would be wiped off the map.
Hill’s remarks are the latest example of anti-Israel and anti-Semitic statements.
Last year, Hill tweeted that it was “offensive” for President Trump to call on Palestinians to “reject hatred and terrorism.” Hill also defended a terrorist who killed two Jewish students and praised anti-Semitic leader Louis Farrakhan.
In a follow up tweet Wednesday, Hill wrote, “I believe in a single secular democratic state for everyone. This is the only way that historic Palestine will be free.” Such an idea would reject the existence of Israel as a Jewish homeland with the ability to defend itself, and cede control over to terrorist groups that have been seeking Jewish extermination. The reference to the “historic Palestine” also makes no sense, since no such place ever existed with defined borders.

I believe in a single secular democratic state for everyone. This is the only way that historic Palestine will be free.
