Congressman Issa already criticized the administration's plans to remove oversight of the spending undertaken by their Small Business Loan program; http://www.americanthinker.com/2010/02/ ... the_1.html I wrote just two weeks ago that investigations were the Democrats worst nightmare if Republicans took either the House or the Senate. http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/201 ... tmare.html

Hence, extraordinary efforts such as the Democrats ploy to restrict the ability of corporations to spend money on "political speech" as highlighted in today's Wall Street Journal editorial . http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1000142 ... on_LEADTop

Democrats want a lot of what has transpired under Team Obama to remain hidden, including the firing of inspector generals and the steps taken to eliminate the position for new programs. This team does not want oversight that might mess up the B+ average Barack Obama modestly bestowed upon himself.
