Just as an explanation,

The point is:

Not only do we have a problem because Boxer and Feinstein are pro-amnesty

but we have a bigger problem because so are Obama, McCain, Clinton and Kennedy, as were Bush and Reagan.

I have a bunch of cousins in Calif. (Simi Valley, Mariposa and Bakersfield) and when I try to talk to them about any issues, they seem absolutely insulated and think I am nuts on top of being boring (funny, how something is always catching fire in the kitchen whenever I call). I don't even know if they bother to vote, but I am up on the teething patterns of the grandkids.
Point being that it is not the fault of anyone else in this country that your state has been blessed with the wisdom of voting for Boxer and Feinstein. And I will do anything I can to help bring some appreciation of sanity to your elected officials, even if I have to catch up on potty training on the left coast.

Many people with young kids, especial if they are the first one, can seldom talk about anything but their kids.
Kids take a lot of the parents time and seldom leave time for anything else.

I hear ya, JD2. I was shocked that my son did not come with an instruction manual when I brought him home. But these munchkins I am talking about are grandkids of my cousins.
Anyway, I will help you in your fight for California. Just point the way and I will write letters everywhere I can on behalf of my cousins, their children and grandchildren.
