Sentenced to 90 days in Tent City PHOENIX – Rapper DMX has been place on lockdown by sheriff’s deputies and will only receive bread and water.
A press release from the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office indicates DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, was removed from Tent City on Sunday night and placed on lockdown for allegedly threatening to assault detention officers.

Earl Simmons (born December 18, 1970), better known by his stage name DMX, is an American entertainer, who rose to fame in the late 1990s. His stage name stands for Dark Man X, the name he used when he first started rapping in 1990. I wish he would stay there. His music is hateful. It glorifies gangs and disrespecting women. I miss the rap that I used to breakdance to in the 80's.
