Sentenced to 90 days in Tent City PHOENIX – Rapper DMX has been place on lockdown by sheriff’s deputies and will only receive bread and water.

A press release from the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office indicates DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, was removed from Tent City on Sunday night and placed on lockdown for allegedly threatening to assault detention officers.

The rapper reportedly refused to report for work and became verbally abusive telling deputies “I already have a job and don’t need this (expletive).â€
