The latest Bloomberg-Los Angeles Times Poll says that currently 55% of the American people are against this bailout. I would hazard a guess that this number will grow rapidly. The news reports are making sound like it's not a matter of 'if' they pass this bailout bill, but what the conditions will be. Our voices are being ignored. Call the White House and tell them what you think.

When I called, it rang busy, but I kept dialing until I got an answer. Then they put you on hold. But I didn't have to wait long. I quoted the poll numbers and said I was against this bailout and that our government was pulling a socialist move by going against the will of the people. There'll probably be a long, black car full of suits pulling up in my driveway at any moment.

I tried Feinstein and when things are busy, it usually goes to message then wait, but couldn't get through today, the lines are busy.

One of the staffer's I talked to said that the Capitol's email and faxes were jammed with people protesting this bill. CNN has a special on right now about the protest rallies across the country. They said there are rallies in 20 major cities at the moment.

It's too bad that the AVERAGE citizen NEVER gets such SPECIAL treatment!
