I will look up and read those links. Thanks. I am listening to talk radio as I speak. I think someone is subbing for Savage right now. The guest speaker said that even Bill Clinton was talking about the fairness doctrine today.

Aside from that "Fairness Doctrine", this is not a slippery slope.
    This is way more nefarious.
It's more like an uncontrolled descent into the Hudson River.

The whole thing is a precursor for obtaining & categorizing DNA records.
This is not new & has been proposed elsewhere most recently.

There's no need for the givernment to record & store
    anyone's health files.

The insurance companies along with SS/Medicare/Medicaid have extensive records already.

Those records are already accessible by entirely too many people
having no real need for that access.

And...have you ever seen our givernment manage
    secure files properly?

Once the DNA samples are recorded, you will never get affordable
    insurance again.

They'll look at you, your parents, your kids & everything
they can to determine what diseases you're all prone to.

So what are they trying to stimulate, a policy state? When my medical records were created I didn't give consent to have them available to the Feds. To me it's quite obvious what the motives for doing this are. Money, power, control.

Two Democrats Who Support Stimulus Oppose Mandatory Nature of Medical-Records Database It Creates

    By Josiah Ryan, Staff Writer

(CNSNews.com) – Two Democratic senators who support the $789-billion stimulus bill say they do not support the provision in it that creates a government database that will hold the personal medical records of all Americans. They say individuals ought to be able to opt out of the system.

Two Republican senators, who oppose the overall bill, were also critical of the database.

The bill calls for the creation of a federal “Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology.â€
