Why F-22 Raptor production was canceled? 22nd current United States Secretary of Defense Robert Michael Gates and the most respected aircraft and jet fighter designer in United States Pierre Sprey say why.
F-22 and F-35 on Sept 25 2008 in RAND corp Pacific Vision was demonstrated both fighter aircraft are useless on combat and expensive. On 9 July 2009 the U.S. Senate Committee on Armed Services signed termination of the F-22 production line. Obama signed the National Defense Authorization Act for termination of the F-22 production line.
