Gaddafi RIP - More to come as Obama's popularity tanks

Gaddafi RIP -- More to come as Obama's popularity numbers continue to tank?

Has anyone noticed that as Barack Obama's popularity numbers tick downward, rogue dictators, assorted bad guys and America's Most Wanted seem to have a shorter life span?

Gone is the happy hippy leftist "we are the world" rhetoric praising Obama's skills as a conciliator, a unifier, a peacemaker, while condeming George W. Bush, the military, covert actions and American foreign policy in general. Enter Barack Obama suddenly as a John Rambo wannabe armed with predator drones, Navy Seal Teams and the United Nations forces. So Muammar Quaddafi has gone to meet Allah. http://www.reuters.com/article/2011/10/ ... FK20111020

After Saddam Hussein was captured, tried, hung and buried at sea, President Bush was called a war criminal http://tvnewslies.org/html/iraq_war_crimes.html by most of the liberal blogosphere and was the regular subject of death threats in leftist protests, albeit a subject largely ignored by the mainstream media. http://www.zombietime.com/zomblog/?p=621

What would the general opinion be of Qaddafi's demise if one were to drag a microphone and television camera through the OWS protesters in Zuccotti Park in NYC? Think that will happen? Doubtful.

And what about all of the Hollywood stars and starlets who went over to Libya and performed for Gaddafi in his heyday to show their solidarity? Anything to say now? No? Anyone going to interview them? No?? http://marcovilla.instablogs.com/entry/ ... r-gaddafi/

Now before we start dancing in the streets with the exuberant media, perhaps there ought to be a few questions asked. Such as, what happens now? Who will take over this very fractured nation? Since our nation was not in the lead of this parade, what say do we have in who takes the reigns? The UN? Dandy.

And what about the weapons Libya supposedly has? There is rumored to be large caches of very dangerous materials that are now pretty much unsecured and until some grown ups take charge, we have reason to be extremely nervous. http://www.stalbertgazette.com/article/ ... late=cpArt

But I'm sure the wannabe Rambo of Pennsylvania Avenue has thought about all of that, given how coherent his foreign policy has......been......

    Oh dear.
