JohnDoe2, you can whitewash the blackest mark,
you can disinfect and air-freshen the nastiest stink.

You can spin the most tangled web to make it look straight,
you can use creative accounting to make a ponzi scheme "legit".

You can claim phony dependents to increase your tax deduction,
you can set up smoke and mirrors to disguise even D.C. corruption.

But one thing you just can't do.

You can't convince people who have been through a natural disaster that FEMA is a good thing or a benefactor. FEMA is typically three days late and several million dollars short. FEMA's primary beneficiaries are the fly-by-night contractors who use illegal aliens to do substandard repair work with offbrand chipboard for inflated double time-and-a-half off-book wages paid from "easy money" FEMA disaster relief checks.

Don't bother to use "Size 7" type to trumpet Glenn Beck reports to eye witnesses who know first hand.
Twice burned - once by nature run amok and again by government bureaucrats run amok - brands a permanent impression.

People who had never heard of federal "disaster relief" before, three months after a disaster, spit in involuntary reflex at the sound of "phé - muh". The mere appearance of a FEMA vehicle in the neighborhood causes honest folk to run to the storm cellar and bar the door. A FEMA op is not the same as a flock of vultures or a herd of ambulance-chasers, but there is a distinct family resemblance.

FEMA employees are on site, not to render services effectively or compassionately, but to draw government paychecks on the backs of someone else's calamity,

I would challenge anyone to interview New Orleans residents and find even 10% among those approached who respond favorably about FEMA. Before you say anything else, an apology for your government representatives who have preceded you might cause you to be better received. But allow me to suggest that the pollsters wear Kevlar vests, football helmets, mouthguards, knee pads, and have quick exit strategies in place before approaching any able-bodied person about FEMA.

You may ask, what does all this have to do with internment camps? Nothing, except that "FEMA" and "internment camp" just seem to go together - like "love" and "marriage", they are a natural fit.

One man's terrorist is another man's undocumented worker.

Unless we enforce laws against illegal aliens today,
tomorrow WE may wake up as illegals.

The last word: illegal aliens are ILLEGAL!
