UN Sec-Gen Guterres Falsely Claims Weather Disasters Have Increased 500% in 50 Years

Deutsche Bank report: ‘A Certain Degree of Eco-Dictatorship Will Be Necessary’ in order ‘to move towards climate neutrality’.
Deutsche Bank Research document published in November 10, 2020, entitled ‘What we must do to Rebuild’ - On page 70, an analysis By Eric Heymann is titled: "Climate neutrality: Are we ready for an honest discussion?" - Page 72:
Heymann, a Deutsche Analyst in Sectors and resources wrote: "We take key consumption decisions, for example whether we travel at all, how much we travel...These decisions tend to be made on the basis of our income, not on climate considerations...If we really want to achieve climate neutrality, we need to change our behavior in all these areas of life...carbon prices will have to rise considerably in order to nudge people to change their behavior. That means that carbon prices will have to rise considerably in order to nudge people to change their behavior. Another (or perhaps supplementary) option is to tighten regulatory law considerably. I know that “eco-dictatorship” is a nasty word. But we may have to ask ourselves the question whether and to what extent we may be willing to accept some kind of eco-dictatorship (in the form of regulatory law) in order to move towards climate neutrality."

State climate curriculum says ’emotions’ should outweigh ‘rational thinking’Also insists students review 'sexism in science' and 'abuse of power'
The Washington state Department of Health released a five part curriculum to help students learn the “intersections of biological, societal, and environmental issues.” The second phase of the curriculum, “Climate Change & Pregnancy,” tells educators and students to “pay attention” to their emotions as “for too long” science has caused “rational thinking” to be prioritized. “As teachers and students consider the impacts of climate change, we should be mindful of the emotional dimensions of the human experience,” the curriculum stated. “For too long, science and science education have prioritized my rational thinking. As we delve more deeply into the impacts of climate change using the [Washington Tracking Network] data and the practices of the Next Generation Science Standards, we must learn to pay attention to our own emotions and those of other people.”

Great News! ‘Climate misinformation’ spreads on Musk’s Twitter – Twitter boosts ‘accounts of serial climate misinformers’ including ‘Morano, who runs a climate denial blog’Politico's E&E: Since Musk’s purchase of Twitter two months ago, some prominent climate deniers have returned to the platform after being banned for pushing misinformation about the Covid-19 pandemic. There also are signs that scientists have left Twitter after their posts depicting global warming research were swarmed by critics. ...
Marc Morano, who runs a blog that routinely attacks climate science, said that since Musk bought Twitter the appearance of his name in climate search results “appear to be juiced by the new algorithms.” “My Twitter account and many others opposing the ‘consensus’ climate view have all increased visibility dramatically since Musk took over Twitter,” he said in an interview. “Whatever Musk is altering, I hope he keeps it up.” Indeed, the number of tweets rejecting climate science have never been higher than in 2022, according to research by the University of London conducted on behalf of The Times newspaper. There have been more than 850,000 climate denial tweets or retweets so far this year. There were 650,000 such messages in 2021 and 220,000 in 2020, the analysis found. ...

Twitter appears to now boost the accounts of serial climate misinformers, including Steve Milloy, a former Trump EPA transition official; Patrick Moore, former head of the CO2 Coalition; and Morano, who runs a climate denial blog. In recent Twitter searches, their accounts appeared in top results with climate scientists, media outlets and NOAA.

Sen Jim Inhofe’s legacy: A vast alumni network on climate, energy

Marc Morano, another former Inhofe staffer, has dedicated his career to denying climate change as founder and executive director of Climate Depot. Morano, the Climate Depot executive director, said that Inhofe “helped me immensely to understand how to oppose bad ideas in Washington, and he aided me in launching my climate opposition career,” said Morano.
“He attracted high-level talented staff, and the proof of that is how his former staff members turned into a ‘Who’s Who’ of those running official Washington’s environmental policies many years later.”

Time Mag Dec. 15, 2022: This corner of southwestern Arizona is one of the most wildlife-rich parts of the U.S., home to mountain lions, javelinas, black bears, and visiting jaguars and ocelots. All these animals roam back and forth across the U.S.-Mexico border to find food, water, and mates. ... .... As global warming alters conditions in animals’ existing habitats, scientists say the biggest mass migration of animals since the Ice Age is getting underway. Climate Depot's Morano comment: "But, Wait! Walls to stop illegal immigration are bad for the environment, but Demilitarized Zones acting as walls between nations are somehow act as wildfire sanctuaries?! Why does the corporate media praise the ecological benefits of the DMZ zone border between North & South Korea but issue dire warnings about any U.S. border?!"
See: 2019 NPR: In Korean DMZ, Wildlife Thrives. Some Conservationists Worry Peace Could Disrupt It - The "DMZ, a 155-mile-long, 2.5-mile-wide strip of land that has been virtually untouched by humans for more than six decades. This strip of land became an unintentional wildlife sanctuary when the two Koreas pulled back from the area after an armistice was signed in their 1950-53 war." ... The DMZ is fortified with tall, barbed-wire fences, riddled with land mines and heavily guarded by the respective countries' militaries, keeping all human disturbances to a minimum. After people left the area, plants and wildlife were able to grow unrestrained. But with increasing goodwill between North and South Korea, environmentalists like Kim fear that the protected nature of the area is changing and may lead to detrimental effects on the wildlife. ... According to South Korea's Ministry of Environment, more than 5,000 species of plants and animals have been identified in the area, including more than 100 that are protected. Vulnerable, near-threatened and endangered animals in the DMZ include the Siberian musk deer, white-naped crane, red-crowned crane, Asiatic black bear, cinereous vulture and long-tailed goral — a species of wild goat.

Watch: Morano on OAN TV on how Fauci is linking COVID & climate- ‘COVID doesn’t need climate. Climate
needs COVID to save it

One America News TV - Broadcast December 15, 2022 - In Focus with Addison Smith
Morano: "With this merging of COVID and climate, Fauci is not an outlier here. A study in the journal Nature, the Harvard School of Medicine ,230 medical journals -- have come out and said we need to have the same template that we had for COVID to fight climate. The World Health Organization has declared climate change the greatest Public Health threat of the 21st century. This is the World Health Organization. So Fauci is following along this lead.

The key here is COVID doesn't need climate. Climate needs COVID to save it because climate was going nowhere. Even when President Obama had super majorities in the House and Senate, he failed to get climate bills through. Never even put climate up for a vote in the Senate. Obama had to go through executive order and of course, Gallup polling shows no change in concern from the late 80s to current days on climate. So they needed to activate climate. This is the new meme and Fauci's pushing it. If you don't support the Green New Deal or the U.S U.N Paris agreement -- you're a grandma killer because unchecked climate change leads to more COVID-like viruses."

The False Assumptions Behind Climate RegulationsMarc Morano's testimony before the Pennsylvania House in 2020: “The Biden administration believes that when democracy fails to achieve its climate goals, it's time to bypass democracy and Congress and follow the COVID model. Climate activists have lusted after the COVID lockdowns as the model for climate lockdowns,” Morano said. “The plan is to declare a 'climate emergency,' toss out elected representatives and follow China's one-party rule model by implementing energy restrictions through the bureaucracy. They don't need no stinkin' democracy. Throughout history, emergency declarations have been used and abused to crush freedom. For those who loved how unelected officials ruled our lives under COVID lockdowns, prepare for the attempts to make climate and energy lockdowns permanent.”

Watch: Morano on OAN TV praises Biden’s effort to ban fossil fuel use in federal buildings: ‘He is going to make fed workers live in a Net Zero world…A less efficient bureaucracy is what we actually want’

One America News TV - Broadcast December 9, 2022 - In Focus with Addison Smith
Morano: This is actually one thing we should wholeheartedly support President Biden. He's talking about eliminating fossil fuels in federal buildings and new construction renovation and existing buildings. This is the first conservative thing Joe Biden has done. He is going to make federal workers live in a Net Zero world that means when August heat waves hit DC and air conditioning isn't going to be sufficiently powered by solar, and wind and renewable, bureaucrats are going to be too uncomfortable to think of even more regulations. In the winter when it's too cold, there'll probably be a lot of people calling in sick. A less efficient bureaucracy is what we actually want in Washington and I can't think of anything more distasteful or unpleasant to impose on federal bureaucrats than working in miserably powered buildings by energy that can't possibly power them well.

Benny Peiser of Net Zero Watch - Speaking at the Heritage Foundation in DC
Peiser: "In Europe, we are degrading our own economy and degrading our nations, in the name of saving the planet without doing anything about CO2 emissions because we are just shifting them abroad, we're just exporting them. That is at the core of all these 27 COPs we've seen over the last 30 years. It's always the same old, it's always the same outcome. The developing world, China, India, etc. are not going to risk their own economies, the well-being of their people, their energy security, their national security. We're doing it and we're paying the price for it."

Peiser: "And this is the biggest warning to Americans: If you want to avoid your energy bills going up fourfold, don't do what we are doing."
