    Photos have emerged on Facebook of a lone Tomb Sentinel, 3d U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard), walking his tour in humble reverence at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier during Hurricane Irene in Arlington National Cemetery this afternoon. Members of The Old Guard have guarded the Tomb “every second, of every day regardless of weather or holidaysâ€

    God Bless our Nations Finest ... these Young Men and Women do so proudly; no matter how miserable they are

    thank you for posting this; we all need to be reminded they are out there at the Tomb of the Unknown soldier as well as thousands of miles from home and family

    Yes these soldiers are a dedicated crew.They honer and respect the fallen unlike most real AMERICANS.These soldiers are chosen to do this most that try out for this job fail.They dont believe in not attending to the memorial even if its bad weather.GODBLESS our men and women of our armed forces.
