I have said before, I hate this statistic because, as written, it is misleading. Back out all Social Security and Medicare recipients, as well as all retired and / or disabled military personnel and what percentage is left? Again, if the point is that these groups are also "government parasites", then the solution is simple. Get rid of Social Security and Medicare ( or privatize them completely) and re-institute the military draft. I would back these measures 100%. Also note, that if Obamacare is not totally eradicated, then that 49% is going to look mighty nice compared to the 99% who will be dependent on the government within 20 years,
