Has Trump been conned into working toward a despotic cashless society? Sure seems so.

See: Fact Sheet: President Donald J. Trump Modernizes Payments to and from America’s Bank Account

PHASING OUT PAPER CHECKS: Today, President Donald J. Trump signed an Executive Order to modernize how the government handles money, switching from old-fashioned paper-based payments to fast, secure electronic payments.

    • The Order mandates that, effective September 30, 2025, the Federal government will cease issuing paper checks for all disbursements, including intragovernmental payments, benefits, vendor payments, and tax refunds.
    • All executive departments and agencies must transition to modern, electronic funds transfer (EFT) methods like direct deposit, debit/credit card payments, digital wallets, and real-time transfers.
    • Payments made to the Federal government, such as fees, fines, loans, and taxes, must also be processed electronically where permissible under existing law.

    • Treasury will phase out physical lockbox services and expedite electronic collection of Federal receipts.

While the Trump Administration is 100% correct, and in perfect harmony with our Founder’s wisdom in using tariffs at our water’s edge to advance the best interests of America’s manufacturing base and having foreign manufactures paying for the privilege of doing business on American soil _ as one does at a flea marker when paying for their booth to sell their goods and wares and thus fill our national treasury _ our Founders would certainly view the Trump Administration’s move toward a cashless society as “. . . the mark of the Beast in Revelations . . . ” when they rejected allowing our government to make bank notes of any kind [which includes today’s Federal Reserve Notes] a “legal tender” in payment of debt SOURCE

Among the very consequences of the Trump Administration’s despotic move toward electronic banking and transactions are, it dissolves physical evidence of financial transactions, conducts trade in the shadow and not the substance, and relinquishes absolute control over every individual and businesses’ financial dealings to the hidden hand of government through government’s alleged innocuous electronic banking scheme.

And what happens when folks in a current Administration are upset with your political views and the political party you have registered with? Will your electronic account be erased or meddle with? How about the manner in which you spend your money? Keep in mind folks in government will have total awareness of every dime you spend. Could you be punished for a particular purchase or it be electronically invalidated at the point of an attempted purchase?

The omnipotent government power connected to moving toward a cashless electronic-based financial transactions system is very real and suggests there is a dangerous and subversive operative in the Trump Administration.

    Forewarned is forearmed

Rep. Luna Introduces Legislation to protect your privacy against government snooping

    .

Let us recall the warnings about the so-called Patriot Act, which turned out to be un-patriotic, and used as a vehicle against American citizens.

See: BREAKING: Rep. Luna Introduces Legislation to Repeal the USA Patriot Act

    May 07, 2025

“For over two decades, rogue actors within our U.S. intelligence agencies have used the Patriot Act to create the most sophisticated, unaccountable surveillance apparatus in the Western world,” said Congresswoman Luna. “My legislation will strip the deep state of these tools and protect every American’s fourth amendment right against unreasonable searches and seizures. It’s past time to rein in our intelligence agencies and restore the right to privacy. Anyone trying to convince you otherwise is using ‘security’ as an excuse to erode your freedom.”

A government created and controlled cashless society opens the door to a notoriously evil opportunity for government surveillance of every financial transaction made by American citizens, and renders their privacy meaningless.

    A real good read!

The War on Cash: How a Cashless Society Will Strip You of Freedom, Privacy, and Control

Conclusion: The War on Cash is the War on You

A cashless society is not progress it’s a power grab. It’s a system designed to strip you of control, privacy, and financial freedom, placing your entire existence in the hands of corporations, employers, banks, agencies and governments that have shown time and time again they cannot be trusted.

Angry Our cashless society Mafia at work

    .
City residents who don't have a debit or credit card or iPhone are told to go pound sand if wanting to park on public property. Of course, government forcing this upon people is blatantly un-constitution and violates 31 U.S. Code § 5103 - what is a "Legal tender" for all debts, public charges, taxes, and dues, and that is in addition to anti-discrimination statutes.

In any event see the cashless society Mafia at work:

Starting May 5, the city will begin updating its parking meters to no longer accept cash or coins.

The options to pay are: debit or credit card at a meter or pay station, use of the ParkMobile app, scanning QR codes, texting “Park” to 77223, or by phone at 877-727-5714.

See:H.R. 1138: Payment Choice Act of 2025 (119th Congress) Bill Summary | Quiver...

What is stunning about the bill, it can only apply to government entities, and not a private business.

HR 1138 Payment Choice Act of 2025

The Payment Choice Act of 2025 aims to ensure that United States currency, specifically cash, is accepted as legal tender for transactions at retail locations across the country. Here is what the bill entails:

    Key Provisions

    • The bill states that every consumer has the right to use cash as payment at retail businesses where in-person payments are accepted.

    • Retailers who accept cash payments must accept up to $500 in cash for transactions. They cannot charge a higher price for customers paying with cash compared to those using other payment methods.

    • There are exceptions for businesses that cannot accept cash due to temporary issues, such as a failure in their payment system or not having enough cash to provide change. Businesses can also use cash-to-prepaid card devices on their premises under certain conditions, which must be provided at no fee and should not require personal information from the customer.

    • For a period of five years post-enactment, businesses may refuse to accept cash payments in bills of $50 or larger. After that time, the Secretary of the Treasury will issue rules regarding the denominations that must be accepted.

    • The bill includes mechanisms for enforcement. Consumers who encounter violations can notify businesses through a formal notice. If the issue isn't resolved within 45 days, they can pursue civil action, which may include seeking damages and penalties against the violating business.

    • If a court determines that a business violated the provisions, that business may be liable for actual damages, along with possibly $250 in liquidated damages if the actual damages are less than that amount. Civil penalties could amount to up to $500 for a first violation and $1,500 for subsequent ones.

    • The bill does not prevent states or local governments from establishing consumer protections that are more stringent than those outlined in the federal bill.

    My comments:
Notice they are limiting the denomination of currency to not include $50 or 100 bills!

This Bill contains several red flags so Vote NO.
