Well I am so sorry Cassie, your in very much trouble if all you have to believe in is Goverment and Politics. There is a GOD and that is the only reason this country still stands. Even though many people have tried and succeeded in Taking God out of our Country They will never completely until every beliver is Gone and then I feel sorry for people like you. You think this world is Bad now you ain't seen nothing yet !!! I pray you open your eyes before it is too late, See your just proving that DEMS are the ones that is trying to turn this country from what it was founded on GOD ALMIGHTY !!!!! It won't happen while I am here on this earth because he lives in my heart and I live on this Earth he gave us. I don't want to argue Religion but I stand on the promises of God . Anyone that has read or even heard of Revelations in the Bible knows everything thats happening is fortold in those pages. Why not pick it up Cassie and see what you have to look forward to if you stay an unbeliever and continue on the path your on. And just to keep arguement down....I would rather belive in a God and Die and find out that there is no God as to Die not beliving and find out there is A GOD ! I know there is a GOD and no one can tell me other wise, just as you will probably look over what I have said here until God softens your heart enough to belive. I was, my ancestors came here over 200 years ago. I’m an all American woman, but foreigner and I have one thing in common. We’re all citizens / residents of this country !

Cassie, I agree whole heartedly with you on the above. I do believe in God becasue he has done too much for me, not to believe in him. That is just my personal experience.
I hope you put all this debating energy and determination into the fight against Illegal Immigration. There are some really good websites like NumbersUSA and Congress.org that you can send out free faxes and emails to senators , representatives and the President. If you browse this site there is lots of ways to help on here as well. Put all that anger into fighting a just cause and it will make you feel really good! Anger is a great motivator!

I applaud you for voting the Dems 4 times in a row. I voted Clinton, Gore, Kerry, and will vote the Democrat in the presidential race in 2008 too. I bet it’s going to be an Obama / Hillary ticket. There’s no difference between the Democrats or Republicans when it comes down on illegal immigration. Both parties support illegal immigration, which is a shame. No more illegals should be able to enter this country, the ones already here can get amnesty or not, I don’t care about that. I don’t think that 100 million people will be added the next 20 years, and surely not 100 million poor people. The Democrats should oppose illegal immigration as America’s poor will be the ones that will bear the burden from illegal immigration. Illegals should be prevented from coming into this country. People die and kids are born. Our population will be somewhere around 330 million by 2027. Not a real issue, China has 1,5 billion by then, India 1,2 billion.

Just last week, the Democrats were touting the ethics reform and lobbying bill, which Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi crafted. Are you aware that both the House and Senate bills contained a provision to suppress grass-roots lobbying by small citizen activist groups, thereby preventing citizens from being made aware of legislation and contacting their Congressmen?????

Let me be clear. I do not like Bush at all (this actually is a grave understatement). I do not like the fact that many Republicans have been in the hip pocket of big corporations. I hate the fact that Bush lied to us and led this country to war under false pretenses, among other things.

And this is why I dislike Bush. He LIED to us. Billy lied to us too about his BJ, but nobody died when he lied.

But when the immigration issue raised its ugly head, and the voting went down in the Senate, it became crystal clear to me that the Democrats, including such characters as Hillary and Obama, were not who they proclaimed to be. This pretty much did it for me. I no longer believe that politicians make decisions in the best interests of American citizens. I am now an Independent.

Both parties have major players who are globalists and want to see this country subjugated to a one world government, which means the loss of individual rights. I think we must move beyond the simplistic mindset that one party is good, the other is bad. The fact is that neither is good, and both may very well be bad!

The idea of one world government is just an utopia that some want to achieve. I don’t believe in a one world government, we’re a sovereign nation. There’re times that I’m even jealous that France has a fool ( Chirac ) but compared to Bush he’s an outstanding leader, who’s not ???

It's just annoying that you come up with the constitution all the time. I've been reading your posts for the last 2 days, and you not only rub the constitution in my face, you also mention it when you discuss with other posters here.

And we agree that illegal immigration is a problem, it should be adressed by ALL parties, and they must propose solutions before the presidential election. I know I put too much energy in bashin Bush, but he's such an idiot. I will not disrespect God or you believing in God, it's just my personal experiences that I'm 100% sure there can't be a God.

Illegal immigration is a part of politics, and that makes debating politics very important too. I'll do everything possible to stop new illegals from coming into this country, but I'll put even more energy in preventing another Bush alike person in the White House. We can't fight illegal immigration without our politicians, sad but true.
