Hillary Clinton: Terrorist Dream Team ‘Not a Threat to the United States’

June 11, 2014 By Matthew Burke

Hillary Clinton: “These five guys are not a threat to the United States.”

In an interview Wednesday morning, Democrat presidential candidate declared that five of the top terrorists in the world, released from GITMO by Obama for military deserter Bowe Bergdahl, are not a threat to America.

“I think a lot of people think that we’re less safe today than we were a week ago because these five guys are out,” Cynthia McFadden asked Clinton Wednesday morning on Today.

“These five guys are not a threat to the United States,” Clinton contended. “They are a threat to the safety and security of Afghanistan and Pakistan.”

Clinton could have easily distanced herself from Obama’s decision to release the terrorist leaders, a move considered by many as enabling the enemy in a time of war.

Now, however, she’s going to need to explain, as is Obama, how releasing the “Terrorist Dream Team” has somehow made America safer.
