what i want to know is what gives this judge the right to tell congress they must continue to provide taxpayer money to groups that they have stopped giving money too and are guilty of various laws.

wasnt is jerrald nadler from NYC and a member of the house who called ACORN and told them to sue because of congress stripping funds?

I imagine because Congress authorized the Executive Branch to give them a contract and there hasn't been a trial yet to prove their guilt of breaking various laws.

The real question is what gave Congress the right to authorize the Executive Branch to give 501 C 3 tax exempt not-for-profit organizations tax payer money to begin with.

De-authorize all public funding to 501 C 3 tax exempt not-for-profit organizations across the board ... the National Endowment for the Arts, National Council of La Raza, ACORN, AARP, Family Research Council ... all of them .. across the board ... cut all their money off and shut them all down.

But not related to the contracts that were canceled by the government. The feds need to make it simple and stop funding any of the 501 C 3 phony not-for-profits. They have a tax exempt status to go raise money. If they want to bid on government contract work, then they have to disband their phony charity organization and operate as a normal for-profit business. All of them. Not just ACORN. All 501 C 3s. No federal money should be dumped in any 501 C 3, good, bad or ugly. Zero.
