How to Apply for a Position in the New Administration

How to Apply for a Position in the New Administration
ASPIRA, and our community, have an strong interest in increasing the number of Hispanics in high level positions in the new President Elect Obama's Administration. If you are interested in applying for a position in the new Administration, there are a few steps you should follow:

Consult the Plum Book which lists all political positions in the Federal Government and the Government Manual which describes the agencies and offices of each branch of the federal government.
Identify up to four specific political appointment positions in the Executive Branch you would be interested in.
Apply on line at Change.gov All applicants, regardless of the position they are seeking, or other contacts they may have, must apply on-line.
More resources for applying for jobs in the new Administration are available here.
In addition, send us a copy of your resume and preferences through e-mail at info@aspira.org. We will transfer your information on to the President-Elect's Transition Team.
    We hope this is helpful.

For anybody who wants to apply I received this message on change.gov.

"Starting January 16, 2009 we will no longer be accepting applications on Change.gov. Beginning January 20, 2009 the Obama-Biden Administration will accept applications on Whitehouse.gov."

Well, it's not so much being white as it is having to be a flaming liberal socialist. After all, Hilary is a flaming white socialist. She is communism in a woman's body.

Rich politicians are always Socialists because they don't understand what it is like to work for a living; they always have some rich "daddy" or husband who takes care of them.

Does an applicant have to provide a long form birth certificate, the one with the doctor and hospital names on it? Thanks.

Yep! Exactly...but it would have been nice to apply and then sue for discrimination.
