Thanks John...just amazing how these diseases are coming back to haunt us once again..............I know for sure there are millions getting across our borders and in ouor country today without health checkups and inoculations........

American travelers to third world countries are supposed to get a whole slew of vaccines. And what do those coming the opposite direction have to do? No wonder we are contracting more weird diseases.

Over-population in our cities, our schools, our public transportation and not least is the millions of unchecked illegal aliens bringing back viruses, diseases and bacterias we had nearly eradicated within our populations.

BTW, we need to inform USA Today that chicken poxs is not deadly, just unconfortable for kids. The vaccine is not 100% effective and can cause late "onset" of a case of the pox in the teen to adult years, where it becomes more serious and also in older generations can form into shingles. People are better off forgoing this particular vaccine, allowing kids to catch it and become 100% perfectly immune for life. As well, German Measles (Rubella) is not only a mild illness, the affected are usually only itchy and somewhat tired. The only concern would be any contact with pregnant women, where if contracted, can cause troubles for the baby and mother.

Yes, they are both viral infections of the Herpes family. Antibiotics don't kill viruses, it only kills bacteria. Your body's natural immunity is the one that cures you eventually from chickenpox or shingles. If your body can't produce the natural immunity (like a person who would have full blown AIDS), then death would be the outcome.

Yes, Johndoe, there are those rare circumstances, and those are the same rare circumstances, those one in a million (or two) that the government and medical establishment use to scare people into getting every shot they have manufactured.

In fact here is a great example of that exact issue. About two years ago, I was being sitter for my grandson, then three, for the summer. I had my two youngest (11 and 15) home as well as him. My teen son started complaining about being itchy, I looked and all over his whole trunk area was a flat scaly rash, and he had a mild fever. I went over all of his symtons, spoke with my mother (mother of six) and she assured me it was Rubella (Rubella will hit in the warmer months). Soon my grandson and 11 year old daughter followed, and neither my husband, myself, nor my daughter contracted it (she has had it when she was 4). Within a week it was gone, and all three were fine during the whole process.

The medical establishment has for years automatically given this vaccine out, claiming it "could" have potential side effects, so better give them vaccinations, scaring most parents into thinking the "German Measles" was somehow be such a serious illness to catch. We kept all three kids out of public till all signs of this was gone, to be sure they did not pass it along.

There are some illnesses that the vaccine seems appropriate for, meningitis is a good exmaple. We have to start getting past fears of our kids being sick at all, and allow our bodies to take on some things in order to build better immune systems. Besides, even with a lot of these vaccines, they do not always protect 100%, against infection of that bacteria or virus, of other forms of it.
