Hamas calls IDF arrests of 64 parliamentarians 'open war'

By Avi Issacharoff and Amos Harel, Haaretz Correspondents and News Agencies

Israel has expanded its military operation against the Hamas-led government in the Palestinian Authority by embarking on mass arrests of senior Hamas officials before dawn Thursday.

Israel Defense Forces troops launched early Thursday a major arrest operation against Hamas officials, detaining 64 of the ruling militant group's ministers and parliamentarians in the West Bank and 23 military operatives.

The arrests took place in Ramallah, Qalqilyah, Hebron, Jenin and East Jerusalem, according to Palestinian reports. Soldiers carried arrest warrants signed by judges that were issued following cooperative preparatory work by the state prosecution and police...

I personally am behind Israels right to arrest anyone who encourages terrorism within their country.

They need to take the upper hand with the Palestinians as we need to with the illegals. There is so much similarity.

Yea, they forgot to say that Isreal did this after the Palestianins, kidnapped a teenager from Isreal and a soldier from Isreal! I admire Isreals balls for what they did, and their willingness to go to war to get their people back. the poor teenager was shot and body burned, they will probably kill the soldier to, if so, I hope Isreal give them holy hell! Why Isreal ever pulled out of the Gaza Strip, and gave it to these idiots I will never understand. It didn't get them anything but trampled on, they are kind of like our invaders from the south, give them an inch and they want a mile, never satisfied!

Imho, Israel has heeded bush's request and been very restrained.

Hamas has never not been "at war" with Israel.

BTW, Chineese advisors are on the ground in Palestine helping the Palistinians/Hamas according to several experts. Interesting

2nd, that is very interesting, considering prophecy. Why China, what do they have to gain from being in the middle of this? It has to be that they think they can gain something from a deal with Hamas, otherwise we all know China would not be there.

    China is the new Russia.

Their tentacles reach everywhere, from their little bailiwick in SE Asia, to the West Indies, to-thanks to the wonderful folks in the Clinton administration-the West coast of California, and through the Panama Canal.

They're in The Sudan-propping up Omar al-Bashir and the Islamo-Nazi National Islamic Front-which they're using as a pipeline to feed the PRC's insatiable desire for new sources of energy.

China is part of a six nation Central Asian defense compact, along with the Russian Federation, which ensures its dominance in that region if Russia-as looks increasingly likely-slips from power.

Those missiles being fired into Kuwait during Operation Iraqi Freedom weren't Scuds, but Chinese Silkworms.

Who keeps Kim Jong-Il's sociopathic, genocidal, hereditary Communist dictatorship in place?

Who ensures that the SPDC/SLORC military junta keeps its foot on the collective throat of the Burmese people?

Who is backing Hugo Chavez-Fidel Castro's Mini-Me-to the hilt?

    I'll give you a hint.

    It's not the Shriners.

No story like this is complete without the ties to our own Bush Administration.

Intelligence analyst probed over ties to a spy for China

By Bill Gertz THE WASHINGTON TIMES July 6, 2006

A high-ranking U.S. intelligence analyst is facing an internal probe for his support of former Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) analyst Ron Montaperto, who recently pleaded guilty to an espionage-related charge involving contacts with Chinese intelligence.

"The matter is being reviewed," said Carl Kropf, a spokesman for Director of National Intelligence (DNI) John D. Negroponte.

Lonnie Henley, deputy national intelligence officer for East Asia, recently sent a two-page e-mail to several hundred current and former U.S. intelligence and policy officials criticizing the FBI investigation of Montaperto and defending the former DIA analyst. As part of a plea bargain reached in U.S. District Court in Alexandria on June 21, Montaperto admitted to passing top-secret data to a Chinese intelligence officer. Mr. Henley also made telephone calls to intelligence officials after the guilty plea to state that Montaperto was caught up in technical violations of classified information laws.

Because Mr. Henley works directly for Mr. Negroponte as part of the National Intelligence Council, and FBI counterintelligence also is nominally part of the DNI oversight, U.S. government officials say the Henley e-mail could be viewed as an officially sanctioned critique of the FBI and thus an appropriate subject for internal review and possible disciplinary action.

So here we have a high ranking US intelligence analyst openly supporting an admitted spy for China.

It's amazing how similar the Bush Administration is to the Clinton Administration regarding China.
It's like hell vomited and the Bush administration appeared.

You all forgot the most important.......IRAN. China & Iran & Russia are a triad. Deals have been struck some time ago....It's them against us folks.

The nuclear mischief is all about IRAN....N. Korea is the puppet and Iran & China are the Puppeteers.

And let us remember good old KLINTON & ALBRIGHT giving China & N. Korea our Nuke secrets. Allowing the chineese spies to keep on spying. We've been so set up for decades but no one would listen to those who were willing to speak!

Hamas has also been recognized by Russia.

Anyone who thinks that Soviet mischief in the Middle East ended with the so-called denouement to the Cold War needs to open up their eyes.

Last year it was the PFLP, PFLP-GC, ANO, and Fatah-the banner of Marxism-and today it's Hezbollah, Hamas, and PIJ, i.e pan-Islamic national socialism.
