Why does the world think Americans owe them our jobs and $$$? And our politicians allowing this to happen.

Now this constant crying of global warming! Celebrities in London saying we have 10 yrs to stop polluting before world devastation!

It just came out that Hollywood is one of the biggest polluters there is...yet they get the attention, want us to drive tin cans or stay home the rest of our days, while they drive SUV's, fly all over the world many times.

These global warmers, don't come out and say China has to stop their factories......they don't say to N.Y., Chicago, Hong Kong, etc. to turn out all those lights.

The QE2 uses one gallon of diesel per 6 INCHES! Where's the outrage?

You know what it is? It's pick on the little people, the rich want to do their thing and that's all that matters!

They have come up with every theory in the world to prove global warming, including cow farts!

Some may laugh at me, but I swear...God made the Heavens and this World and in my opinion, he controls the weather!

Yes, we should not throw poisons in rivers, lakes...yes we should not throw trash all over the country side.....but is anyone actually talking it up about the trash these illegals are throwing all over the desert and mountains?

Why aren't celebrities calling attention to that? Why aren't they calling attention to our failing schools?

I had to take my blood pressure meds after the Blackwater discussion on CNN...when our military folks work for very little and these guys bring in a huge chunk of change, daily...I have heard reports on some of their daily earnings....disgusting...and the fact that THE DECIDER doesn't think we the people have a right to know

These "righteous" leftists want to give us thermostats that will only go up to 65 degrees and myriads of "green taxes", govt regulations, eviromental impact fees, etc. and take the control of energy from the private sector and transfer it to the government in the biggest power shift in history. Global warming, as it is presented, is a ruse pushing us toward socialism and can be easily disproven, but they are trying to silence the debate by infering that you are stupid if you don't buy into the whole scam. Well, there are over 30,000 scientists who don't either, including Dr. Patrick J. Michaels, who is a renown climatologist and sits on the UN climate council. Read his book "Meltdown." Most people who buy into this have never read anything from the opposite side.

BTW, nobody knows where Al Gore got that 20' sea rise he shows in his slide shows. The UN's estimate is only inches, and that is not anywhere near a fact. It's all about the 522 TRILLION dollars it is estimated to cost over this century. They also recently admitted that they had "exaggerated" the effects.....NO KIDDING!!

Grapes used to grow in Newfoundland in Leif Erikson's time, so we have been as warm before. Just another climate cycle. Winters are warmer, saving millions of gallons and dollars in heating costs...all kinds of good things about it, but the "doom and gloom" crowd are never satisfied unless they can "save" us from something. We need saving from THEM!

It's as though the vast majority of undereductaed Americans are utterly unaware that we've been working our way back out of the "little ice age" that swept over the planet in the 13th century and kept temperatures suppressed right into the Industrial Age. Given how much cooler temperatures were compared against the average across recorded history, we would more appropriately be worried if temperatures were not coming back up.

As for the Libnuts and their desired control of our energy and resource consumption, the bastards already have us using tilets that routinely take two flushes to get the job done. How you're supposed to save water with two flushes that use 60% of the water of the previous single flush is entirely beyond me. But the funny thing is that the limousine Liberals who push for this sort of thin use more water to heat their Olympic-sized swimming pools and to light their tennic sourts than most of use for all our needs. They waste more fuel on a single charter jet flight than their entire neighborhood would save in a year with the fuel restrictions they want to impose on our autos.

Anybody who wants to impose "fart taxes" on sheep (New Zealand) is a certified post graduate IDIOT! Anybody remember the ozone layer? Whatever happened to that thing anyway? That was the disaster "du jour" a few years back, then the oceans were going to die in 20 years, Erlich's "Poplulation Explosion" that determined that "nothing could be done" to keep millions from dying, oh except taxes on baby cribs, government controlled birth rates, etc. DDT was going to kill every living thing. There is ALWAYS a current "disaster" looming over us and we have to be saved from ourselves by the "all knowing" elite libnuts! Saving us always involves money and surrendering control to them of course. Barf!

Well, it's a wonder that anyone fell for the ozone layer crap. For starters, how is a man-made effect supposed to occur at the location (the South Pole) that is the most geologically remote from human habitation and particularly from the industry that was supposedly responsible? As it turns out, the hole is a natural effect that occurs as the magnetosphere deflects incoming solar radiation to the poles during periods of high solar activity.

I did field studies in Mexico many years ago....it does kill small living things fast...the bigger things die years down the road or their offspring are not right...that is why I eat no fruit or veggies from Mexico or further south...and then the sludge fertilizer...screw that...I pay more for a carrot or grow my own...because I like carrot with my carrots

Two New Books Confirm Global Warming is Natural; Not Caused By Human Activity

Two powerful new books say today’s global warming is due not to human activity but primarily to a long, moderate solar-linked cycle. Unstoppable Global Warming Every 1500 Years, by physicist Fred Singer and economist Dennis Avery was released just before Christmas. The Chilling Stars: A New Theory of Climate Change, by Danish physicist Henrik Svensmark and former BBC science writer Nigel Calder (Icon Books), is due out in March.

Singer and Avery note that most of the earth’s recent warming occurred before 1940, and thus before much human-emitted CO2. Moreover, physical evidence shows 600 moderate warmings in the earth’s last million years. The evidence ranges from ancient Nile flood records, Chinese court documents and Roman wine grapes to modern spectral analysis of polar ice cores, deep seabed sediments, and layered cave stalagmites.

Unstoppable Global Warming shows the earth’s temperatures following variations in solar intensity through centuries of sunspot records, and finds cycles of sun-linked isotopes in ice and tree rings. The book cites the work of Svensmark, who says cosmic rays vary the earth’s temperatures by creating more or fewer of the low, wet clouds that cool the earth. It notes that global climate models can’t accurately register cloud effects.

The Chilling Stars relates how Svensmark’s team mimicked the chemistry of earth’s atmosphere, by putting realistic mixtures of atmospheric gases into a large reaction chamber, with ultraviolet light as a stand-in for the sun. When they turned on the UV, microscopic droplets—cloud seeds—started floating through the chamber.

“We were amazed by the speed and efficiency with which the electrons [generated by cosmic rays] do their work of creating the building blocks for the cloud condensation nuclei,” says Svensmark.

The Chilling Stars documents how cosmic rays amplify small changes in the sun’s irradiance fourfold, creating 1-2 degree C cycles in earth’s temperatures: Cosmic rays continually slam into the earth’s atmosphere from outer space, creating ion clusters that become seeds for small droplets of water and sulfuric acid. The droplets then form the low, wet clouds that reflect solar energy back into space. When the sun is more active, it shields the earth from some of the rays, clouds wane, and the planet warms.

Unstoppable Global Warming documents the reality of a moderate, natural, 1500-year climate cycle on the earth. The Chilling Stars explains the why and how.
