As a resident of Pennsylvania I can say that Santorum's defeat had very little, if anything, to do with his position on the immigration issue.
Iraq was the big issue around here. Santorum was seen as very supportive of Bush and people are dissatisfied with the situation in Iraq; therefore, they voted for Casey. There were other issues, also, having nothing to do with immigration. Casey ran as a "conservative" Democrat and his father was a very popular governor in Pennsylvania.

Nice try, but that propaganda has been debunked so many times, it's not worth the effort to re-hash it again. It only takes one point to destroy the argument......Hayworth lost in Arizona.....BUT, at the same time, some of the toughest propositions against illegals were passed by HUGE margins with 48% of the Hispanic vote approving them. You can't have it both ways, people want the illegal problem solved and not by legalization. A big part of Hayworth's lose was the Abramhoff lobby scandal. Of course, Bush was the driving force behind all the Republican loses.
Frank Sharry knows all this, but he is counting on people who can't reason or have no logic to buy into his drivel!
You can go back to your Nintendo now! :P

We know you are a troll because YOU DO NOT HAVE the facts. Many of the officials that lost did not lose due to their stance on immigration.
They lost because of their lack of inaction on immigration and many other issues since the Reps had control of both houses from 94."Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting the same results is the definition of insanity. " Albert Einstein.

One more question before I get banned again and can't post:
Why can't you guys debaate someone that disagree on you without ofending? Is it just the level of the ALIPAC people or what??? Not that that hurts me, but it sounds very very unclassy for you guys (and girls).

In my opinion, you are not here to debate, you are here to harrass.
