Just as has been said all along, registration leads to confiscation. Get ready. It's coming to your state soon.

Of course! That's why the founders made it absolutely clear as crystal in our language the right of the people shall not be abridged. That means no registration, no waiting periods, no nothing. The federal government has the right under the commerce clause to regulate the sale and manufacture of arms and weapons. But that is all it has the authority to do. It has no authority to regulate who can keep and bear them and every attempt to do so violates the 2nd Amendment to the US Constitution every time it does so.

I'm more worried about being arrested for using a plastic straw!

My priorities are getting illegal aliens out of our country so we don't have to worry so much about illegal use of weapons.

Just use paper straws and you won't have to worry about the 6 months in the slammer. Comply with the "rule of law". You have no constitutional right to a plastic straw, you do however have a constitutional right to possess a gun.

First of all people are being jailed, not just fined. Secondly you are apparently ignorant of the importance of the second amendment and how bad a thing the confiscation of people’s firearms is. If The second amendment goes away, illegal immigration is the least of our worries. Frankly I’m really surprised an ALIPACer wouldn’t be aware of the importance of the second amendment. Are you trolling or something? You seriously place the importance of having a frigging straw over people being able to defend themselves?

So do you hold with Judy's position that gun ownership by illegal aliens is protected under the 2nd Amendment?

I never said anything about "gun ownership". The illegal alien is charged with possession of a gun, not ownership of it.
