John McCain: ISIS Will Attack America
Sunday, 15 Jun 2014 09:49 AM
By Todd Beamon
The United States needs to begin airstrikes on Iraq right away to stop the growing unrest in Iraq, Sen. John McCain said.
"If we don't do anything, then you will see the Iranians come in — and they are already in," the Arizona Republican, who sits on the Senate Armed Services Committee, told Jeanine Pirro Saturday on her Fox News Program. "You will see them in greater numbers if Maliki feels he cannot get help from the U.N. or other allies."
McCain was referring to Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki. The Sunni militants of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) have captured large swaths of territory north of Baghdad since Tuesday. Their advance on Baghdad was sending food prices dramatically higher and prompting tighter security in the city of 7 million people.
Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel on Saturday ordered the USS George H.W. Bush aircraft carrier into the Persian Gulf as President Barack Obama weighed possible military action in Iraq. Officials said the move would give the president more flexibility if military action were needed to protect American citizens and interests in Baghdad.
McCain told Pirro that he had no doubt that ISIS would plan attacks against the United States.
"It has everything to do with the threat that they pose. ISIS is the worst of the worst. Even one of the extremist groups can't stand them."
The senator continued his call for a new national security team at the White House in light of the spiraling Iraqi developments.
"It has been a complete failure," said of Obama's foreign policy, especially since the president pulled out all U.S. troops in late 2011. "We could have left troops behind. We could have left them as we did in Japan. Germany, Bosnia. As we did in Korea as a stabilizing force.
"I predicted when he pulled them all out that it would be doomed to failure. I predicted it three times."
McCain was among the many Senate Republicans who warned of a militant resurgence in Iraq in letters to the president in 2009, 2010, and last year.
A total of 4,486 U.S. soldiers died in the Iraq War, which lasted from March 2003 to December 2011.
"It's been an utter and total failure both in Iraq — and now it's going to be in Afghanistan," he told Pirro. "We need a new team. We need the ones that won the war. We had that war won.
"We blew it — and we took everybody out. We didn't leave a residual force behind," McCain said.
"That's a tragedy because we lost over 4,000 brave young Americans."

America Arms Jihadists in Syria – Then Fights Exact Same Jihadists in Iraq

It is OK to be confused at this point. *scratches head*
If I could pick one word to describe Barack Obama's foreign policy, it would be "chaos."
I am not sure how many Americans actually realize that the people we are now going to fight in Iraq are the same men that Barack Obama and congress have funded in Syria. Though this would not be the first time that our own soldiers have been shot at with guns we provided, this is now far beyond the point of insanity.
Fox News is drifting more and more left every single day. They reported yesterday that ISIS has American-made Stinger Missiles.U.S. officials with access to the latest U.S. intelligence on Iraq told Fox News it "appears likely/probable" that U.S.-made Stinger missiles have fallen into the hands of Sunni insurgents. This just in! There is another possibility as well. Anyone who thinks that these terrorists have to beg, borrow or steal Stinger Missiles is a complete idiot. The CIA was running Stingers through Libya, and those missiles were making their way to Syria. That is how we were funding the rebels before we officially funded the rebels.
It is possible that the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) fighters acquired them from army bases they have taken over in recent days, the sources said.
And now those same rebels become our enemy, but only if they cross the Iraqi border. Those inside of Syria are still our friends. And if any of those in Iraq should take a break to head back to Syria, they become our friends once again. Any questions?
Furthermore, the same Iranians, whose motto is "Death to America," are now clearly our friends, but only inside the borders of Iraq. Actually, with Obama, that is not the case. He loves Iran. For those of us with common sense, we are now being asked to consider Iran an ally, but only within the context of this new Iraqi conflict. We will all kill each other later.
You don't hear much truth from the news media in America. But for anyone with any doubts, I'd like to share with you with a quote from the CBC:You only have to look at the ruined towns northeast of the Syrian city of Aleppo to understand what happened in Iraq's Mosul. Is it all crystal-clear now?
The names of "martyred" fighters line the walls, alongside invocations to obey Sharia law, through miles of crumpled buildings, rubble and unexploded ammunition.
"These people use different names, so if one is defeated the other can claim victory," says Col. Mohamed Saleh of the Syrian army as he surveys the wreckage of a factory in which 27 of his soldiers were killed.
"They call themselves ISIL, al-Nusrah Front, Deach, but they are all the same."
These very same jihadis — which the Syrian forces have been defeating — are now surging towards Baghdad, some of them, perhaps, the very same men who fought Bashar al-Assad's regime in northern Syria.
If you choose to believe this narrative that we are only supplying aid to the "good rebels" or "moderate rebels" in Syria then be my guest. Either way, they have weapons that were made here and will use them to try to kill our people. If you want to believe that they stole them from the "good rebels," or from those they conquered, then I will respectfully disagree, but it does not change the fact that this was bad foreign policy.
It isn't much different than the Stingers that were "stolen" in Libya or the M-16s that were "stolen" in Kuwait. At best it is incompetence. At worst it is complicity, which spells TREASON.
This is America. We expect results.
Before you jump on the "Bush did this…" bandwagon, please save your breath. Bush did his fair share of damage. We have to find a way to deal with what is happening now. This is about having a leader who is not doing his job.
Obama has to go.

McCain dies fight for ISIS

Not that one! American Douglas McAuthur McCain Dies Fighting for ISIS in Syria
I just couldn’t resist the opportunity… It also goes further to the point that Americans are fighting on the side of ISIS in Syria.
As reported by NBC…
Photo from Facebook
The battle in itself seemed tragically normal. Two Syrian opposition groups fought and there were heavy casualties on both sides. Then victorious rebels rifled through the pockets of the dead. One contained about $800 in cash — and an American passport.
Douglas McAuthur McCain, of San Diego, California, was killed over the weekend fighting for the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS), according to the Free Syrian Army. Photos of McCain’s passport and of his body — which feature a distinctive neck tattoo — have been seen by NBC News. According to an activist linked to the Free Syrian Army who also saw the body and travel document, McCain was among three foreign jihadis fighting with ISIS who died during the battle.
Senior administration officials told NBC News they were aware that McCain was killed in Syria, adding that they believe dozens of Americans have gone there to fight with extremist groups – including, but not limited to, ISIS.
“The threat we are most concerned about to the homeland is that of fighters like this returning to the U.S. and committing acts of terrorism,” a senior administration official told NBC News.
NBC News has contacted several members of McCain’s family and dozens of friends – including his mother, sister, aunts and cousins. A woman who said she was McCain’s aunt confirmed that he had “passed” and referred calls to McCain’s mother.

Facebook
A profile photo taken from the Facebook page of a man calling himself "Duale ThaslaveofAllah" has been identified by NBC News as Douglas McAuthur McCain, 33, an American who killed over the weekend in Syria. McCain, 33, called himself "Duale ThaslaveofAllah" on Facebook and his Twitter bio reads: "It's Islam over everything." But how did this would-be rapper go from shooting hoops in a blue-collar area of Minnesota to dying in the civil war thousands of miles from home? This is his story -- one shared in part by only a "small handful" of Americans believed to be fighting in Syria with ISIS.
State Department Is In Contact with Douglas McAuthor McCain’s Family
NBC News
'He Was a Goofball in High School'
Douglas McAuthur McCain was born in Illinois on Jan. 29, 1981. His family later moved to Minnesota's Twin Cities area where he attended Robbinsdale Cooper High School in New Hope as part of the class of 1999.
Classmates at the school – which was described to NBC News as around 75 percent white and 10 percent African American - recalled an “always smiling” joker who liked to laugh and play basketball. McCain wasn’t on the high school team and didn't come across as religious, according to one basketball buddy.
“He was a goofball in high school,” that classmate told NBC News. “Doug was a fun guy to be around. Played basketball, joked a lot, had a small sense of humor. Got along with most … Wasn't the best athlete, but liked to play.”
Another classmate recalled going to teen nights on Fridays at the local YMCA to play basketball and dance. McCain "was a good guy who loved his family and friends," the classmate said. "He would be the light in anyone's darkness. He always made you smile with his goofy self."
After he graduated, McCain stuck around the Twin Cities for at least a while. Public records searches show several run-ins with the law. One mugshot of a Douglas McAuthur McCain details an arrest in 2000 at the age of 19 in New Hope on charges of disorderly conduct. Another arrest record – also from New Hope - shows the same man was arrested again in 2006 and booked on charges of obstruction. The mugshot from that arrest also clearly appears to be McCain – and has the same neck tattoo that is seen in Facebook photos of McCain on his "Duale ThaslaveofAllah" account - and the body found on the Syrian battlefield. NBC News confirmed on Tuesday that he was convicted of both charges.
Around 2004, McCain "reverted" to Islam, according to his Twitter feed.
'He Respected My Christianity'
McCain's devotion to his faith was evident to many who met him on his travels, which included at least one trip to Sweden to rap - making friends and basketball buddies along the way. Several Swedes told NBC News that they met him on a visit there – between three and four years ago – when he performed in the town of Vasteras, near Stockholm and attended an underground rap show.
Kevin Törnström Kohlin remembered seeing McCain’s basketball skills on display at a game in Vasteras – and bonding over a shared love of Rick Ross and Ace Hood.
“He's a good dribbler, passer and great at taking care of the phase of the game when he got the ball,” Kohlin told NBC News. “He was like a really nice guy. He smiles a lot and brings a lot of good energy.”
“We would talk just a little bit about religion,” Kohlin added. “He respected my Christianity.”
State Dept. Has 'Concern' Over Americans Possibly Joining ISIS
NBC News
At some point, McCain moved to California. His Facebook profile states that he studied at San Diego City College; it was not immediately clear if he had graduated.
Until early last year, a Twitter account linked to McCain included mostly mundane messages to friends about basketball – how the Lakers suck, comments about the Chicago Bulls – with only a few messages about Allah or Islam. The most political it got appeared to be a #FreeGaza tweet on Jan 2, 2013. There was also a message posted around the same time, with an image of a woman in a burqa and the words "there is nothin like a mother love." Then the account went silent for more than a year.
Sometime in between, McCain reportedly worked at a Somali restaurant in San Diego – African Spice – and was known around the Masjid Nur mosque, according to an acquaintance.
“He was a normal guy, who was social, open-minded, like to smile always, and always wanted to be a good Muslim,” the acquaintance from the restaurant said.
Where Does ISIS Get Its Money?

McCain’s online life also painted the picture of a devout Muslim who deeply loved his family – along with Pizza Hut and hip-hop. His likes on Facebook ranged from “Quaran and Hadith” to “The Khilafah in Universe,” “A Way to Paradise” to “Craziest Street Fights,” “The American Comedy Co.” to “The Black Flag.”
“Allah keeps me going day and night. Without Allah, I am no one,” read one photo post. Others took a darker turn – posts featured the black flag of ISIS and other militant propaganda photos. In September 2010, he posted an ominous image: “They are coming back soldiers of Allah.”
A MySpace profile linked to Duale – and with the same images as elsewhere on social media – contains similar messages, with pictures of the sometime rapper striking poses. In one photo, he clutches a Quran. “The quran is all I need in this life of sin,” reads another caption.
'I'm With the Brothers Now'
When McCain’s Twitter account sprung back into activity on May 13, the messages again spoke of Islam.
“I reverted to Islam 10 years ago and I must say In sha Allah I will never look back the best thing that ever happen to me,” he posted. McCain - or Duale, as he had come to be known - then appeared to strike up online friendships with several self-proclaimed jihadis.
On April 3, McCain retweeted the full English translation of the speech of Abu Muhammad al-Adnani – the spokesman for ISIS.
Soon after, it appears that McCain’s travels took him to Turkey, a common jihadi route into Syria. Three people told NBC News that they met McCain – who they referred to as Duale – three months ago in in the Istanbul neighborhood of Sultanahmet. Two said they met him at the Burger King, where they ate and talked about the NBA.
U.S. officials have said “a small handful” of Americans are believed to be fighting with ISIS. Earlier this month, a new ISIS propaganda video claimed to feature an American citizen. And in July, chilling video emerged purporting to show the first American to carry out a suicide attack in Syria burning his U.S. passport and issuing threats against the West. The video of Moner Mohammad Abusalha, who grew up in Florida, underscored concerns about the flow of foreign fighters to Syria.
American-Born Suicide Bomber Burns His Passport

Those have been amplified by an ISIS video narrated by an apparent Westerner and showing the beheading of American journalist James Foley - and the story of McCain.
On June 9, Duale wrote to an alleged ISIS fighter on Twitter: “I will be joining you guys soon.” He also asked if another self-proclaimed ISIS fighter had made it to “r town” – an apparent reference to Raqqa, the militants' Syrian stronghold.
Then came another post: “I’m with the brothers now.” Later, he retweeted: “It takes a warrior to understand a warrior. Pray for ISIS.”
His final Twitter post was last Tuesday.

Along with this good friend Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) penned a New York Times op-ed this weekend calling on President Barack Obama to “confront ISIS now” and criticizing him for saying “We don’t have a strategy yet.” But asked by Fox News’ Greta Van Susteren what the U.S. should do about ISIS Tuesday afternoon, his first response was two short words: “Kill ‘em.”
“They’ve got to be destroyed, and you’ve got to have a goal, the president does, and we have to have a strategy to fit that goal and policies that will implement it. We have none of the above,” McCain said on Fox. He called Obama’s recent comments about the “messy” world “one of most unbelievable comments ever made.”
McCain continued his push for war in both Iraq and Syria, saying the fight requires the “full weight of American air power” as well as “some more boots and support on the ground.” He added, “All this didn’t have to happen. We could have left a force behind in Iraq that would have stabilized Iraq. And we are paying an incredible price for the president’s leading from behind, whether it be in Iraq, in Syria, in Libya, or a number of countries in the Middle East. We are seeing the chickens coming home to roost.”
The senator proceeded to seriously misspeak when he described a 2013 meeting in the White House in which everyone on the administration’s national security team “recommended arming ISIS.” But, he explained, “the president, by himself, turned it down.”
OOPS! McCain Accidentally Admits Obama Admin Armed ISIS
John McCain and Obama are both guilty of arming terrorists, though they don’t like to come right out and admit it. But thanks to a freudian slip during an interview with Greta Van Susteren, McCain has now admitted to committing the atrocities he has denied for some time.
At about the one minute mark in the video clip above, Susteren questions the Senator regarding arming the Free Syrian Army. McCain’s answer, though a slip of the tongue, is quite revealing. “Hillary Clinton has described already the meeting in the White House over two years ago… everyone in the national security team recommended arming ISIS and the President, by himself, turned it down,” said McCain.
Obviously, he was referencing the President’s refusal to arm the FSA, which he accidentally called ISIS.
McCain’s inability to differentiate between ISIS and the FSA just speaks to the fact that the Obama Administration has been notorious for aiding our enemies while leaving our allies out to dry.
Let us know what you think of John McCain’s little slip up in the comments section. Innocent mistake, or too much of a coincidence to ignore? Sound off!

ISIS Praises John McCain for Helping them Invade Iraq
Theodore Shoebat 16 hours ago
The Muslim terrorist group, ISIS, issued a statement attributing their success to the Iraq war, and they had John McCain to thank for it. In the statement they wrote:…the crusader John McCain came to the Senate floor to rant irritably about the victories the Islamic State was achieving in Iraq. He forgot that he himself participated in the invasion of Iraq that led to the blessed events unfolding today by Allah's bounty and justice. It is true, the war in Iraq that was started by Bush led to enabling ISIS to commit the massacres and violence it is doing now. ISIS knows that Saddam would have not tolerated them, and would have without hesitation cut them to pieces, as his predecessor Nebuchadnezzar would have done.
Iraq does not need democracy, but a fierce dictatorship like Saddam. But thanks to John McCain and his ilk, we have devils like ISIS invading Iraq and butchering Christians, and the jihadists are thanking McCain for their victories and atrocities.
All I can say is, I miss Saddam.
