Voight on Obama: The president is a 'false prophet'

Actor Jon Voight voices his opinion of President Obama's foreign policy and calls him a false prophet.Source: CNN | Added June 9, 2009

I had to laugh at this comment which was left:

Is this what the GOP has come to? Who gives a rat's patoody what Jon Voight thinks. Is he a scholar? Is he now a politician? What experience does he bring to the table? Again, we witness the negative, angry, self-centered, destructive stance that the GOP is becoming all too well known for.



I suppose the same could be said about Jeanine Garafolo and all of the other celebs who go bashing the right.....too bad it isn't


I don't care what anyone thinks of Jon Voight politically, or as an actor.....personally, I loved him in Five People You Meet In Heaven, one of my all time favorite books and movies........he is a human being and American citizen FIRST and FOREMOST.

He also happens to be absolutely right!
This effects him just as much as the next one.

Did you see Five People You Meet In Heaven, AB? It's really such a wonderful book and movie.

I'm a huge fan of Mitch Albom's work. I see him as the author-equivalent to Thomas Kincaide. Both given such a gift to convey the spiritual beyond the abilities of men........given the conditions which exist in our churches today, the fact that so many clergy have been exposed as everything other than what they claim to be, I often think that God found alternate ways to get the message across.

I have a new found respect for Jon Voight!

On election night, one of the most vivid memories I have is of Mr. Voight's pissed off expression as he left after McCains' concession speech right after he lost.
John Voight is diefinitely a rarity in HollyWierd. Personally I loved him in Deliverence.
