To read the comments at the Facebook site was touching. So many people gathered together in one place, celebrating patriotism, honoring the military, celebrating the call to turn toward God, to trust in the Lord Jesus. Very moving. Lives were changed, and there is a renewal to find one's call and then to do it. Each person has a purpose, a reason for being here.

WOW how many hundred thousand people attended ? Does anyone know ?

Even the haters had trouble finding anything to P and moan about this wonderful gathering. Al Sharpton looked like the fool/racist that he is when is was complaining . He lost alot of followers today with his rediculous Boo Hooing.

As I understood it, the area around the reflecting pool holds around 200 thousand people. The area beside the pool area holds around 200-250 thousand. Those areas were reported to be filled, and the area behind had people. Around 130,000 plus were on Facebook, and who knows how many people were watching on C Span, watching C Span on the internet, listening to XM radio, and other radio and media that were streaming the event.
