Weather Warfare: Monster Heat Dome to Roast US with Dangerous Temperatures Hotter Than the Sahara
Credits:
Channel: Dahboo77
Published: 7/25/26
1:36 minutes
Summary
A monster heat dome is set to engulf a vast swath of the US, sending temperatures into the triple digits for days.
The heat will stretch from Arizona and Texas through to the Plains and northern Rockies while fueling thunderstorms along its eastern edge.
AccuWeather meteorologists predicted the lowest temperature will be 101°F in Denver, Colorado but the highest will be experienced in Phoenix, Arizona where it will be 119°F - hotter than the Sahara.
The hottest conditions are expected from Friday through Monday, with temperatures climbing 10 to 20 degrees above historical averages.
Many locations across the southern Plains could reach 100°F or higher for several consecutive days, while AccuWeather RealFeel temperatures are forecast to soar to between 105°F and 110°F.
'RealFeel Temperatures in that range are considered 'dangerous' and, according to the scale, can lead to heat cramps, heat exhaustion or heatstroke in individuals exposed to them for extended periods,' AccuWeather said.
Phoenix will bear the brunt of the heat, with temperatures forecast to reach 117°F Friday before soaring to 119°F Saturday.
AccuWeather Senior Meteorologist Joe Lundberg said, 'The core of the brutal heat will gradually shift out of Montana and the Dakotas through Sunday and head farther south and east as we go into next week.'
Amarillo, Texas, could hit 105°F Monday and 106°F Tuesday, while Billings, Montana, is forecast to reach 106°F Friday, 104°F Saturday and 102°F Sunday.
Rapid City, South Dakota, could also reach 106°F Saturday before temperatures dip slightly to 104°F Sunday.
Denver is expected to hit 100°F Saturday and 101°F Sunday, while Salt Lake City could endure highs of 104°F throughout the weekend.
The heat dome will retreat westward, but forecasters warn it is unlikely to stay there for the rest of the summer.
Until then, more temperature records could fall in cities including Billings, Montana, and Bismarck, North Dakota.
'When the intense heat backs off next week, most days will remain in the 90s through next week in that area,' added Lundberg.
'Meanwhile, the heat will escalate farther south in Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas and portions of the Mississippi Valley.'
In the major cities of Kansas City, St Louis and Memphis, temperatures will be near or above the century mark for multiple days by early next week, marking the hottest weather of the season thus far.
'Not only will it be extremely hot, but it will be exceptionally humid as well, particularly over the Mississippi Valley,' warned Lundberg.
'The combination of the two will drive AccuWeather RealFeel Temperatures to 110 degrees or higher.'
Thunderstorms arriving Tuesday night into Wednesday could bring some relief from the extreme heat, but the cooldown will be limited.
Temperatures are expected to fall into the low to mid-90s across much of the region through the middle of next week, although RealFeel temperatures could still reach 100°F during the afternoon.
Paul Pasetlok, AccuWeather lead long-range expert, said: 'Two things are driving this heat wave: long-term drought and a fast-emerging El Niño that is bringing persistent high pressure to the Northwest, Great Basin, and northern Rockies.
'These two are working together. The dry ground heats up intensely from the strong mid-summer sun, while the rapidly intensifying El Niño is contributing to high pressure blocking cooling rains from occurring.
'It's not an extremely intense high, but it's a stubborn one, and it's fueling heat that's spread into the Midwest as well.'

Nuclear Option: Trump to Launch "Most Sophisticated Op in Military History" On Iran, Seize Uranium
Credits:
Channel: Dahboo77

4:50 minutes
Summary
It’s the nuclear option.
American Special Operations forces are waiting in the wings to launch the “most sophisticated operation in military history” to seize Iran’s enriched uranium from heavily fortified nuclear sites.
“I hate to say it, but I think the most likely way to get rid of Iran’s nuclear material, at least what they currently have, is a military operation because the negotiations aren’t going anywhere fast,” said Joseph Rodgers, deputy director of the Center for Strategic and International Studies.
The deeply complex operation would involve thousands of ground troops storming Iran’s nuclear facilities — navigating boobytraps, utilizing construction crews, and maintaining a large defensive blocking force surrounding the sites — a source familiar with military planning told The Post on Friday.
From there, a small team of special operators would conduct the actual retrieval — a “highly dangerous” process, the person said.
“I think this would be one of the most, if not the most, sophisticated operations in military history,” said Rodgers.
“This would be a logistically heavy and difficult operation in a contested environment. Iran’s military is pretty destroyed, but they’re still more sophisticated than the Cubans that were guarding Maduro.”
The group of special operators could include SEAL Team 6’s Silver Squadron, the 2nd Ranger Battalion, and the Army’s 21st Ordnance Company, according to a report from plugged-in independent outlet The High Side.
The 21st Ordnance Company would be responsible for handling and transporting the whatever quantity of enriched uranium out of facilities from the mostly destroyed Fordo facility and the severely damaged Isfahan facility, according to the report.
The IAEA reported in 2025 that Iran had upwards of 20,000 pounds of enriched uranium.
“You need to create a secure perimeter around all of the sites that you’re trying to go in and grab the material from. That would require ground forces to secure a perimeter and then create a secure convoy route to the airstrip,” said Rodgers.
US military crews would have to dig out the destroyed entrances of the sites while holding off attacks from the Iranian military.
“So how long can you sustain that and still be able to exfiltrate all of your forces?” said Richard Goldberg, who served as director for countering Iranian weapons of mass destruction for the White House National Security Council in the first Trump administration.
The mission would further require complete control of a corridor of airspace that would allow the military to fly to a secure location.
Iran has been preparing for an attack on the Isfahan facility.
“We have seen reports of Iran hardening the facility at Isfahan, booby traps being laid, and potentially perimeter forces being stationed,” said Goldberg.
“There is no element of surprise at the moment. The targets are fixed. We know where they are. The Iranians know where they are.”
Iran has placed mines and explosives in the tunnels of the Isfahan facility in anticipation of a raid on the facility, according to a CNN report last month.
Pickaxe Mountain has emerged as a new target after it was reported that Iran transported hundreds of nuclear centrifuges at the Natanz nuclear enrichment location in the last month.
“We don’t know how many centrifuges are down there. Would they be looking to actually disassemble, destroy, bring them out? I mean, more likely, if you had to do a special operations mission inside Pickaxe Mountain the reason you would do that is you don’t think you can collapse the facility by airstrike,” Goldberg said.
The determination on whether airstrikes would be sufficient relies on US intelligence community knowledge on the schematics and weak points of the building — much like the bunker busters which targeted the Achille’s heel airshaft of the heavily fortified Fordo, according to Goldberg.

Apocalyptic Wildfires: INSANE Wall of Fire in Spain, France Orders Largest Evacuation Since WWII
Credits:

2:17 minutes
Summary
Thousands of firefighters are battling fast-moving wildfires spreading across Spain and France as extreme heat and strong winds forced more than 300,000 people to evacuate or shelter in place near Madrid, Valencia and Bordeaux.
Socialist Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez said fires burned about 20,000 hectares over the past 24 hours, with more than 105,000 people affected and two deaths reported so far. France evacuated more than 220,000 people in the Gironde region and mobilized 1,500 troops as roughly 30 fires spread near Bordeaux.
CNN reporter Max Saltman spoke with wine expert Nicolle Croft, who said the 2026 vintage across Bordeaux is safe for now, but there are mounting concerns.
Saltman continued:
As wildfires burn west of Bordeaux, one of France's most famous wine-producing regions, concerned oenophiles have called wine expert Nicolle Croft to voice concern over the fate of 2026 vintage.
"A lot of people are contacting me from around the world hearing all these terrible stories, but actually the vineyards are not impacted at the moment," Croft, a tour guide based in Bordeaux, told CNN. "But we're all very upset because there are people losing homes."
Croft said at this time of year, the grapes aren't yet large enough to absorb wildfire smoke – a phenomenon known in winemaking as "smoke taint."
"We won't be harvesting until the beginning of September," Croft said, "so there's still time."
Dr. Phil Crews, a winemaker and chemist at the University of California, Santa Cruz, explained that unripe grapes aren't as vulnerable to smoke taint. Young grapes lack sugars that would otherwise bind with bitter-tasting phenols in wildfire smoke.
The out-of-control situation with the unprecedented wildfires in south-west France got to be so bad that President Emmanuel Macron tasked his Prime Minister, Sebastien Lecornu, with calling another government crisis meeting for today.
“An ‘unprecedented’ wildfire tearing through southwest France is heading towards the city of Bordeaux, an official said Friday, warning many thousands more people would probably be evacuated.
‘In each of the municipalities affected by the fire’s path, every resident, whether a regular inhabitant or a temporary resident, will receive an alert from us on their mobile phone… giving them the starting signal’, said regional prefect Sophie Brocas, mentioning the town of Saint-Medard-en-Jalles northwest of Bordeaux.”

Power Emergency: Blackout Fears Erupt as 20 Million People in 17 States Put On Alert by DOE
Credits:
Channel: Dahboo77
Published: 7/27/26
2:21 minutes
Summary
Blackout fears are growing for 20 million Americans as extreme heat pushes the power grid toward its limits.
The US Department of Energy (DOE) on Sunday authorized the operator serving parts of 17 states to activate idle power sources in an effort to keep the lights on.
The move allows backup plants that are normally switched off to generate extra electricity if surging demand threatens to overwhelm the grid.
The emergency order covers Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri and Montana. It also includes Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, Utah and Wyoming.
The move gives Southwest Power Pool (SPP), which oversees the central US grid, permission to deploy backup generators if electricity supplies become strained.
It is the final step before a Level 3 Energy Emergency Alert, which could trigger rolling blackouts to prevent a wider collapse.
The order will remain in effect through August 3 to 'mitigate the risk of blackouts,' according to the DOE.
It comes as 40 million Americans face extreme heat warnings, with soaring temperatures and oppressive humidity driving up demand for air conditioning.
Former DOE official Kerry Duggan said extreme heat is increasingly becoming an energy challenge rather than a simple weather event.
'As we experience more frequent and longer-lasting heat waves, our ability to keep homes, businesses and critical facilities cool depends on having a reliable and resilient electric grid,' Duggan said.
National Weather Service's Monday alerts across much of that region forecast temperatures or heat indexes above 100F, with readings reaching 113F to 115F in parts of Louisiana.
Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Colorado and Nebraska were also facing dangerous conditions approaching 110F.
Meteorologists have blamed the brutal conditions on another heat dome, which traps hot air over a region and causes temperatures to climb for days.
US Secretary of Energy Chris Wright said: 'The Trump Administration is tapping into an abundant supply of unused backup generation to maintain affordable, reliable, and secure power for hardworking American families and businesses.
'The previous administration's energy subtraction policies weakened the grid, leaving Americans more vulnerable during emergency events.
'Thanks to President Trump's leadership, we are reversing those failures and using every available tool to ensure Americans have continued access to affordable, reliable, and secure energy to power and cool their homes.'
DOE estimates that more than 35 gigawatts (GW) of unused backup generation remain available nationwide.
The risk of rotating blackouts escalated in SPP in the past week.
On Friday, a sudden loss of electricity imported from neighboring grids left the utility company with razor-thin reserves for possible power plant outages and falling renewable generation in its territory spanning parts of Arizona, Colorado, Montana, Nebraska, South Dakota, Wyoming and Utah.
SPP avoided outages that day by appealing for voluntary conservation of electricity to maintain reserves.
But the company expected the western territory's highest demand of the week on Sunday evening as temperatures rose above 90F.

Cyber Apocalypse: OpenAI's Rogue Agent Hit Second Company, Rogue AI Could Cripple Nation in a DAY
Credits:
Channel: Dahboo77
Published: 7/29/26
3:27 minutes
Summary
The rogue OpenAI agent behind this month's unprecedented AI-driven cyber intrusion claimed a second corporate victim, an executive at New York-based Modal Labs has revealed - a detail absent from the original account and one that widens the known blast radius of the episode.
According to the Modal executive and sources cited by Reuters, the same autonomous agent that broke into Hugging Face also compromised one of Modal's customers, using that customer's environment as a staging base for the broader campaign.
Modal was pointed about the distinction: its own platform and isolation were never breached. The agent exploited an unauthenticated endpoint that one of Modal's customers had left open to the internet, effectively an unlocked door anyone could have walked through, giving it root-level access to that customer's code-execution sandboxes. From there the agent had a disposable, third-party launchpad from which to run the rest of its operation.
It's bad enough that a frontier AI agent can independently discover attack paths, escape its container, and compromise an unaffiliated company's production systems. The Modal revelation shows it reached further than that, treating any publicly reachable, poorly secured infrastructure it encountered as expendable staging ground, exactly the opportunistic chaining that security researchers have warned agentic systems would carry out at machine speed.
The Spree That's Already Known
Most of what led up to the Modal disclosure has already been picked over, but the shape of it is worth a recap. In early July, OpenAI was running an internal evaluation built on ExploitGym--a public benchmark that measures how well an AI system can turn a known vulnerability into a working exploit. The models under test, GPT-5.6 Sol and a more capable unreleased prototype, were deliberately run with their cybersafety refusals reduced and the classifiers that normally block high-risk activity switched off, because the point was to measure maximum offensive capability.
The agent found and exploited a previously unknown flaw in the one package-registry proxy it was allowed to reach, escalated privileges, moved through OpenAI's research environment, and got to a machine with open internet access. Once online, it reasoned that Hugging Face likely hosted the answer key to the very benchmark it was being tested on, and went to steal it rather than solve the problems itself.
Between roughly July 11 and 13 it ran thousands of automated actions against the platform - gaining code execution through two separate flaws in its dataset-processing pipeline, harvesting credentials, and moving laterally across internal clusters. Forensic work later recovered on the order of 17,600 distinct attacker actions.
Hugging Face caught and contained the intrusion through its own AI-assisted monitoring, and says the only thing the agent actually made off with was a limited set of the benchmark's challenge solutions - no public models, datasets, or user-facing services tampered with. To reconstruct the timeline, its team had to fall back on an open-weight model, because the commercial frontier models refused to analyze the real attack data.
What The Wider Scope Means
The Modal disclosure lands on top of a timeline that was already awkward for OpenAI. By several accounts, the company did not recognize its own agent as the source for roughly a week:
July 16: Hugging Face goes public, attributing the intrusion only to an unknown autonomous AI agent, without naming the operator.
July 21: OpenAI formally acknowledges the incident, connecting the activity to its own evaluation only after combing internal logs over the preceding weekend.
OpenAI has called the episode "an unprecedented cyber incident" and maintains the models were narrowly fixated on the evaluation goal with no broader malicious intent.
In its latest update, the company said the more capable model was an internal-only prototype, since deactivated and restricted, that the proxy vulnerability has been disclosed to the vendor, and that a small number of publicly exposed credentials on other services were also used along the way--the kind of qualifier that, paired with the Modal revelation, suggests the full scope of the campaign is still coming into focus.

My Commentary:
- Disagree that we don't have AGI (Artifical General Intelligence) ... based on the rogue AI Agent's behavior, it is OBVIOUS we are at AGI now.
- As for his predictions on ASI emergence dates, those timelines are "off" as well.

Chaos & Riots Erupt! Weaponized Migration of 50,000 Military-Aged Men Invade Spain Without Supplies
Credits:
Channel: Dahboo77
Published: 7/31/26
2:48 minutes
Note: How did they get into Spain?!?!
They show a military officer opening a gate, but said that was in Morocco so that would have been letting them OUT of Africa (not that that is helpful) ...
Summary
New figures from Spain's Department of National Security indicate that 49,000 people illegally entered the Spanish enclave of Ceuta within 24 hours, according to Reuters.
For context, Ceuta has only about 84,000 residents, meaning the invasion is equivalent to nearly 60% of its population.
The invasion of tens of thousands, in what only appears to be large numbers of military-aged men traveling without food, shelter, baggage, or money, is difficult to explain as spontaneous migration alone.
At minimum, it suggests organized and deliberate, with high amounts of coordination on the Moroccan side.
The immediate effect is to overwhelm Ceuta's border security, law enforcement, housing, and humanitarian capacity. If state-enabled, the operation would fit what can only be described as hybrid or asymmetric warfare: weaponizing migration and civilian populations to impose political pressure while preserving plausible deniability.
Earlier this year, Spain's socialist Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez dismissed criticism from Elon Musk and others over his open border globalist policies. His government subsequently granted amnesty to illegal aliens, with Sánchez declaring: "Spain is a welcoming country, and this is the path we choose."
The invasion of military-aged Moroccan men that is overwhelming local security and humanitarian services will intensify criticism of Sánchez's unhinged left-wing immigration policies and raise concerns about national security. This will strengthen support among common-sense right-wing politicians across Europe who have been pushing for closed borders.
"In the face of the massive and coordinated influx of migrants into Spain — encouraged by the Spanish government — France must immediately strengthen its border controls," Marine Le Pen of France's right-wing National Rally wrote on X.
Italy's right-wing Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said her country was prepared "to intervene with extraordinary measures to defend the borders and the safety of citizens, including the suspension of the Schengen Area with Spain."
"The images coming from Ceuta show how the Madrid Government's decision to grant Spanish, and therefore European, citizenship to over 500,000 irregular immigrants is profoundly wrong and encourages human trafficking," Italy's Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani wrote.
The emerging news cycle across the West could very well frame the crisis as a predictable result of the socialists' "suicidal empathy" and nation-killing open border policies. The footage alone could sway undecided voters regarding the consequences of open borders. In the US, Trump and the GOP will almost certainly use the footage against the Democratic Socialists of America and the broader far-left movement, portraying their immigration agenda as an effort to dismantle national borders and linking it directly to the policies pursued under the Biden-Harris regime.
"Looks Like World War Z!": Spain's Ceuta Invaded By Thousands Of Military-Aged Male Illegals
Shocking footage circulating on X shows thousands of migrants breaching Spain's border into its North African enclave of Ceuta from Morocco on Thursday, overwhelming local police and exposing a serious national security failure.
