Lunatic fringe is a pejorative term used to characterize members of a usually political or social movement espousing extreme, eccentric, or fanatical views.

It was coined by the 26th President of the United States, Theodore Roosevelt, to marginalize American anarchists.

Lunatic Fringe can refer to:

Lunatic Fringe (song), recorded in 1981 by Red Rider, from their album As Far as Siam

The working title for the Pink Floyd song "Brain Damage" was called A Lunatic Song

and is often mistaken for Lunatic Fringe by Red Rider.
