If the opposition can gain a foothold coming through the back door, it can then start to re-direct the debate. By declaring the old party conservitives as dead, ineffective, dismantled, they declare the stage as vacant and place themselves upon that very stage. They now declare to have the answers for all of the parties troubles, when in fact it was they that instigated the troubles to begin with. A Reichstag fire has been kindled on the conservitive stage during the middle of the night. Now those with queer thoughts will rush to the scene to help put out the fire and place blame.

Queer thoughts, as devious thoughts, can consume the unsuspecting.
